Teaser PV and joint forces visual from spring anime "Kingdom" revealed! Daisuke Namikawa will play the role of Wu Houming, Tatsuo Suzuki will play the role of Hou Tsubasa, and Yusho Kamimura will play the role of Hakurei.

The teaser PV and character visuals of the combined forces from the third series of the TV anime "Kingdom," scheduled to begin airing in April 2020, have been released. Daisuke Namikawa will be playing the role of Wu Fomei, a general of the Wei Kingdom, Tatsuo Suzuki will be playing the role of Hou Tsubasa, a general of the Chuxing Kingdom, and Yusho Kamimura will be playing the role of Hakurei, also a general of the Chuxing Kingdom.

Kingdom" is a TV animation based on the manga of the same title by Yasuhisa Hara, which is serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha). Set in China during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, it is a Chinese Warring States epic romance depicting the activities of a boy, Nobu (CV: Seiichi Morita), who aims to become a great general, and a young king, Eisei (CV: Jun Fukuyama), who later becomes the first emperor of Japan. The total number of copies of the original comics sold exceeded 47 million, and the first live-action film adaptation was a huge hit in April 2019.


The first series of the TV anime was broadcast on NHK BS Premium from June 2012 to February 2013, and the second series from June 2013 to March 2014.


The third series, scheduled to air on NHK General from April 2020, will be directed by Kenichi Imaizumi, with series composition by Noboru Takagi, character design by Tsune Abe, and animation production by Studio Signpost. The third series will enter the Gasshogun Arc, which is said to be the largest scale battle in the history of "Kingdom," and will depict the fierce story of the Qin Dynasty as it confronts the onslaught of the Gasshogun approaching Hamyang, the royal capital of the Qin Dynasty.

A teaser PV of the third series has recently been released. In addition to the magnificent worldview, the video depicts the serious expressions on the faces of Nobu and Yuzei, as if foreseeing the fury of the combined armies, and the scene of Nobu slashing at the enemy in a big way.

I have the honor of playing the major role of Wu Fengming. The military unit, Goyon Gundan, is very strong in power and individuality. I am a military strategist in this army. Although I am still a young general, I hope to make my presence felt so that I will not be overshadowed by the characters around me. The Kingdom is a very powerful place. The joint military version is one of the most intense series in the series. I am delighted to be able to participate in my favorite work, and I will do my utmost to play the role. ・ Synopsis
In B.C., in the western Chinese state of Qin, a young general named Shin, who aspired to become "a great general under heaven" as dreamed by his now deceased best friend, was a thousand men.
He was involved in a coup d'état that took place in the royal capital, and fate brought him into contact with the current King of Qin, Eisei Yeisei, and together they set out on the battlefield to fulfill their own dreams and achieve Yeisei's goal of "the unification of China. Overcoming the death of his mentor Ouqi, who died in battle, Shin steadily climbs the ladder to his dream while engaging in friendly competition with other captains of the same generation, including Mouten and Ouhen.
