A rare journey in the storm! Report on "Birthday Sabato featuring Pekora (Yurie Kosakai) & Mei Tachibana (Natsuko Hara)" full of laughter, emotion and love!
The Nagoya edition of "Birthday Sabat featuring Pekora (Yurie Kosakai) & Mei Tachibana (Natsuko Hara)," in which voice actors Yurie Kosakai and Natsuko Hara celebrate their birthdays with their fans, was held on July 27, 2019.
Kosakai and Hara both have birthdays on July 6, and they are also from Aichi Prefecture. So, following the Tokyo Birthday Sabat on the day of their birthdays, the Nagoya event was held on July 27, consisting of two parts: a bus tour of their hometown in Aichi Prefecture and a live event!
As you may have already guessed from the title, this event was also a "Yagami Chan Dropkick" event, but it was also a fan event for the two cast members, giving fans a closer look at the girls' true faces.
This time, Akiba Research Institute's evil reporter, A, accompanied the tour. As one of the evil-doers, I enjoyed the tour ...... and carried out my mission!
Evildoers departing with the typhoon
The tour participants met at Mikawa-Anjo Station in Aichi Prefecture. The station is about 30 minutes away from Nagoya Station by conventional train.
Departure was at 10:30 a.m. A large number of wicked believers had already gathered 30 minutes prior to the departure time. While there was a sense of anticipation everywhere, once we stepped out of the station, it was raining quite heavily. The reason for this was that Typhoon No. 6 "NARI" hit Honshu on the same day. Just as we were in the middle of our tour, the typhoon was on its way to approach Aichi Prefecture.
Touring in the middle of a storm is a hard situation that tests one's faith. Reporter A was in the mood to say, "Well, I guess I can manage.
Ms. Kosakai and Ms. Hara joined us shortly after. We were all suddenly excited to see them dressed in the tour conductor style of JR Tokai Tours, the tour operator this time! They look good together! They look cute!
The two of them boarded two separate buses. On the bus, they will talk about the places they are associated with and the charms of their hometown.
So, reporter A rode with Mr. Hara on his bus. The Birthday Sabbatical in Nagoya, here we go!
At a French diner associated with Mr. Hara, we met rare materials!
Our first stop was the French diner "Kokoriko," where Ms. Hara worked part-time for about five years while she was active as a local idol.
The master himself welcomes the wicked in the stylish restaurant that suddenly appears in the middle of a residential area. Mr. Hara and Ms. Kosakai also changed into their part-time staff uniforms and presented freshly made quiche to the wicked.
The master had even set up a display corner of Mr. Hara's goods for the occasion, which was irresistible. The tour group was surprised and impressed by the visuals of Mr. Hara in his younger days.
Mr. Hara himself seemed to be completely moved and reminisced about those days.
As the tour group moved on to the next destination, the tour conductor on the bus passed the baton. This time, Mr. Kosakai boarded the bus with Reporter A. She and the other wicked people tried the quiche in the bus, but it was so delicious that she couldn't help but make a "Pekora" sound. The bus was filled with excitement as Mr. Kosakai was overflowing with a spirit of service.
What a bus tour! Commemorative photo in the rain
Next stop was Horiuchi Park, a "fairy tale village of flowers and greenery. This is a place of relaxation for the locals ...... where they can enjoy a bit of amusement park atmosphere with playground equipment for a fee, but the rain was getting heavier and heavier, and the conditions were not conducive to enjoying the outdoors in a fun way.
But for some reason, we were all in high spirits, and we all agreed, "Let's just take a commemorative photo for now! and united in one accord. We jumped out of the bus and cheesed in the wind and rain!
I wonder who started it all, but with the slogan, "What a bus tour! A strange sense of unity was beginning to emerge under the slogan, "What a bus tour!
A commemorative photo!
Incidentally, a small miracle happened at Horiuchi Park.
Mr. B, one of the wicked people who could not make it on time for the departure time, succeeded in meeting the tour group at Horiuchi Park. He had predicted the tour itinerary and had arrived at Horiuchi Park ahead of the group.
The group was excited to see all the tour participants at last. Mr. B is a hero. Mr. Kosakai even rewarded him by giving him a chance to sit down and listen to the story of how they arrived at the park.
Mr. Kosakai was very impressed! A cake shop with fond memories
Just as we were about to move on to our next destination, Mr. Hara rejoined the bus in which reporter A was riding.
Whenever we passed by places that have a connection with Mr. Hara, such as a park he used to visit called "Denpark" and his grandfather's house, he would happily share his local episodes with us. The love for his hometown brought a smile to our faces.
He was no less service-oriented than the others, playing games that everyone could enjoy together, and giving us a food report on the quiche he had just received in the voice of the character he had played.
Next we arrived at "Coeur de boldeaux," a cake shop in town. This is where Mr. Kosakai did his work experience for about three days when he was 14 years old.
The whole store welcomed him with open arms, with the words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" made by the staff and a whole cake decorated with photos of Mr. Kosakai and Mr. Hara!
Mr. Kosakai was so moved that he cried ......! The warm-heartedness of the manager and other staff members was unintentionally impressive.
Here, "fools," a confectionary highly recommended by Mr. Kosakai, was served to the wicked, and they all enjoyed its mildly sweet flavor.
A commemorative photo with the manager!
The weather suddenly turned for the better when we arrived here. It was impressive to see the weather clear up.
Yurie Kosakai's voice at the time of her debut was ......?
The next stop was Medias 834 Studio, a satellite studio of Medias FM, a community FM station located in the Tokai City Arts Theater.
We were greeted by the producer of the program and a member of "Chita Musume," a local character and idol voice-over unit that promotes the Chita Peninsula. The two were the producer of the program and Ms. Ayane Kato, who plays Clara Hirokoji of "Chita Musume.
One of the characters of "Chita Musume. Kosakai, who voices Mirai Higashiura, one of the characters in the "Chita Musume" group, participated in the "Chita Musume" local idol voice-over audition held in her hometown of Nagoya. Fans will know that Kosakai passed the "Chita Musume" local idol voice-over audition held in her hometown of Nagoya and made her debut as a voice actress. It was here, at "Medias 834 Studio," that she made her debut on a radio program, and to our surprise, the audio from that time still exists! So, I decided to listen to the audio of those days with the evil one.
Ms. Kosakai usually has an attractive soprano voice, but her natural voice at the time of her debut was much lower than it is now. She confessed that she had dared to keep her voice low because she "wanted to act mature and make herself look cool" (her face was bright red at that time!). (Mr. Kosakai's face was bright red at the time!).
Ms. Kato, who is only 20 years old and still a university student, commented, "(Ms. Kosakai) is a great senior in Chita Musume。 Kato, who is only 20 years old and still a college student, commented, "Ms. Kosakai is a wonderful senior in Chita Musume。 Ms. Hara seemed to have a fresh impression of Ms. Kosakai's senior character, which she usually does not show.
This talk will be broadcast on August 23 on "Chita Musume. Station" on August 23. The talk will be broadcast on "Chita Musume. Station" on August 23rd.
Birthday event with surprise guests!
The bus then moved on to "Dt.BLD," a live house in Osu, Nagoya City. The tour concluded with a birthday event.
The first thing that caught my attention was Ms. Hara's costume! She was dressed as a policewoman, just like Mei Tachibana, the character she plays. The costume was handmade by a volunteer group of evil spirits, and the fact that Ms. Hara appeared wearing it showed how much she cared about the event.
Ms. Ayane Kato, who recorded the program with him at "Medias 834 Studio," also appeared on stage! When Mr. Yanase, the advertising producer, asked her, "Are you coming? She answered, "Yes, I'm coming! and she suddenly decided to participate in the event. What lightness of footwork!
Anyway, Mr. Kato left the stage for the time being.
The event started with a live recording of "Jyakami-chan" by Ms. Kosakai and Mr. Hara. In "Jyakami-chan Dropkick," Pekora (played by Ms. Kosakai) and Mei Tachibana (played by Ms. Hara) rarely have a scene in which they are alone together, and the only episode in which the two characters interact is "No Damekonna" from the original work volume 9. Therefore, this time, this episode is reproduced with voice acting.
In addition, a special version of the episode "after that" was chosen by Ms. Kosakai and Mr. Hara from among the episodes solicited from the evil people, and an epilogue chosen by them was added. The audience laughed out loud at the eccentric world of "Jyakami-chan," which is still eccentric even with just her voice.
After that, the lyrics of the anime theme song "Ano Musume ni Drop Kick" were performed in a "Mei Peko Version" arranged to fit the characters of Mei and Pekora, and Kosakaidai, dressed in "Chita Musume. Kosakai-san, dressed in her "Chita Musume" costume, sang a character song of Mirai Higashiura (and Ms. Kato jumped in as a dancer during the song, a surprise!) ), and Ms. Hara performed a song from her idol days in her costume (there were some fans in the audience who seemed to have been supporting her since those days).
In between the songs, there were birthday offerings from the evil spirits and birthday cakes from the staff, which were typical of a birthday event.
Next up was a section on the theme of "friends.
Here, Ms. Hara's best friend from high school appeared! Mr. Hara had not been informed of this and was truly surprised. He was also surprised to receive a colorful card with a collection of notes written by his friends from his hometown. For some reason, there was also a comment from Chiaki Omigawa, who plays Minos, on it, which made Mr. Hara even more surprised.
Incidentally, his best friend has been in contact with Kazusa Arani, the voice actress who plays Yusa, on the Internet since their school days, and this surprise was made possible through her. The world is really a small place.
And here comes the man behind this event (?). Mr. Aranami appeared on stage. Mr. Hara, Ms. Kosakai, and Mr. Aranami performed a reading play on the theme of friends.
The audience cried as Ms. Kosakai and Mr. Hara talked about their love for their families. ......
The event, which was filled with a lot of excitement, entered the second half.
The theme was "family. In a change from the lively atmosphere of the previous two sessions, Mr. Hara and Ms. Kosakai revealed their secret feelings for their families.
Ms. Hara tearfully spoke of her feelings for her father, who passed away due to illness, and confessed that she wanted him to see her become the voice actor she had always dreamed of. Ms. Kosakai read a letter to her mother on stage. She talked about the countless conflicts between her and her parents regarding her career path and how grateful she is now, and sang about her feelings for her parents as she played the keyboard. The audience warmly applauded Ms. Kosakai, who never gave up singing, even though her singing became a bit stilted at some points due to nervousness.
The event, which was like reliving the lives of Ms. Kosakai and Mr. Hara, finally came to a close. From here on, the live part of the event began.
The duo enlivened the audience with a varied set list that included energetic pop songs and somber ballad songs, but before the final song, they once again expressed their gratitude to their fans - or rather, to the evil spirits. Before the final song, they again thanked their fans - or rather, the "evil people." The audience was moved to tears by the tenderness of Kosakai-san, who gently embraced Hara-san, who was choking up with emotion.
The last number performed in such a moving atmosphere was the famous "tokutokoro kuru kuru" song in the ani-song DJ circles. Kosakai-san and Hara-san, who had said, "I wanted to go around with everyone," ended up running around the stage while singing the song, since the venue was all reserved seating and the evil ones could not move.
It was a very awkward ending, but I guess that's the way it should be. It was a perfect ending to an unusual road trip.
Although the show was called "......," the two artists decided that the show could not end there, so they came back for an encore. They performed a duet once again, and the long day came to an end.
After the live performance, Ms. Kosakai and Mr. Hara took a commemorative photo with the evil spirits to remember the day's hard work. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed until the very end, making it an unforgettable day for all the tour participants.
Thank you all for your hard work!
