PS4 "New Sakura Taisen", the Lunden Kagekidan, and the mascot character of the Grand Imperial Theatre are revealed!

New Sakura Wars" is the latest title in the "Sakura Wars" series and will be released on PS4 on December 12, 2019. Sega Games has released information about the London Hagetai and the mascot of Teigeki, "Gekizo," which will appear in the game.

New Sakura Wars" is a dramatic 3D action-adventure game set in the fictional Imperial capital of Tokyo in the Taisho Era, and follows the exploits of the "Teikoku Kagekidan" as they fight against evil. The main character design is by Kubo Taito, known as the author of the manga "BLEACH" serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha). The music is by Kouhei Tanaka, who has provided many songs for previous titles in the series. The story will be composed by Ishiijiro, who is active in a variety of media including games, TV animation, and movies.

Character Introductions

Arthur (CV: Nobunaga Shimazaki)


He is 18 years old and the leader of the "Lun Dun Kagekidan, Knights of the Round Table. Born into an aristocratic family of knights that also includes an earl, he is an English knight who has inherited the family's "Excalibur," the divine sword. His alias "Arthur" is also a title that has been passed down in his family for generations, along with the divine sword Excalibur. He is a man of chivalry, and is always fair and square. Normally, he is a serious English gentleman who is popular with the ladies, but once he is turned on in battle, he transforms into a pompous and aggressive character.




Lancelot (CV: Aimi Numakura)



A 17-year-old member of the Lunsdon Knights of the Round Table, Lancelot is a brave, bold, and belligerent fighter. He is a brave, bold, and belligerent leader of the Lun Dun Kagekidan. She is also known as the "Black Knight" because of her black costume. He is energetic, bright, and cheerful, and does not think too deeply about things. He has both a wildness and a natural innocence that he honed in his own way, and he acts before he thinks.



Gekizo, the Great Empire



A karakuri advertising puppet for the Teigeki Theater. He is also known as "Gekizo-kun. Kamiyama is appointed as the Teigekijo's "special mission publicity manager," and transforms into the mascot "Gekizo-kun. He is responsible for advertising and gathering information about the Teigeki to drastically increase the number of visitors!



Reiko fighter "Bridoven



The Bridoven is a reiko fighter aircraft used by the Lun Dun Kagekidan. Its appearance is based on the motif of Western armor. Each fighter fights with a sword in its hand.
