From the latest anime heroines to nostalgic heroes and cosplayers! The second part of the C3AFATOKYO 2019 report, full of figures & toys hobbies!

C3AFATOKYO 2019, a character and hobby event that brings together all kinds of hobbies including anime, comics, special effects, novels, games, cosplay, figures, and models, was held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall over two days on August 24 and 25, 2019.

Various hobby manufacturers exhibited their booths at the event. In addition to exhibiting their new hobbies, they also sold limited-edition goods at the venue. Many hobby fans lined up to get in. On the main stage, a number of events were held to enliven the event.
In addition, there was a corner where general dealers exhibited and sold home-made hobbies, making the event a true celebration of the hobby.

In this issue, we report on the exhibits of various manufacturers and the general dealers' space!

SANKYO

SANKYO, which released the pachinko machine "P Fever Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," held a variety of stage events. Many fans came to see the spectacular events typical of a pachinko machine manufacturer, including a taiko performance by the taiko idol group "Tokyo Otome Taiko" and a cosplay photo session by popular cosplayers "Kaeru-chan" and "Awaon".
There were also lots of beautiful companions!

ANIPLEX

ANIPLEX, with its life-size Megumi Kato making a big impact, exhibited new figure items of popular characters such as "Demon Slayer," "Mom Likes Twice Normal Attacks," and the "Seishun Butajaro" series. I want all of them!

■Zoukei Kobo Jungle

Zoukei Kobo Jirin, the figure brand of the hobby store "Jungle," will present an austere lineup including the "Cat's Eye" figure, which will go on sale the day after the event! A product lineup that is irresistible to a certain age group!

Chiban Neri

SENKANERI is well-known for its lineup that satisfies robot and mecha fans with hard details. This time, too, many mockups were displayed. Expectations for future releases are high!

Evolution Toys

The "Space Knight Tekkaman Blade" series was announced! The small body is packed with gimmicks and details. The "Tekkaman Blade" series is scheduled to be released one after another in the future, so keep your eyes peeled for more developments!

KADOKAWA

KADOKAWA, a company that produces many popular content items, has released a figure of Megumi Kato from "Saenai Kanojo no Nuturekata" (The Raising of a Saerenai Kano Girlfriend). Seeing Kato lying on her back gives you an indescribable sense of immorality. ......
There is also an experience corner where visitors can "feel like they have been summoned to another world. (Actually, you can "just feel" it by standing on a display depicting a magic circle.)

Tokyo Figure

Tokyo Figure, a figure maker, will have a lineup including "Azur Lane" and "Evangelion.


Hobby Japan

Hobby Japan, which also publishes the magazine "Hobby Japan," exhibited examples of works that have appeared in the magazine. Many hobby fans stopped by to take a closer look at "that kit" that graced the pages of the magazine.

Cospa

At Cospa, a well-known cosplay item maker, Toro from "Dokodemo Issho" and Piposal from "Ape Escape," who celebrated their 20th anniversary this year, were there to play with visitors! Everyone took a commemorative photo!



■Coca-Cola Japan
Canned coffee "GEOGEA" and "Mobile Suit Gundam" collaborated! In addition to displaying cans designed by Gundam characters, many people lined up to actually get a cup of coffee.

DeAgostini Japan

DeAgostini, well-known for its "Bunkatsu Encyclopedia," unveiled a Godzilla that is completed in 100 issues. The Godzilla itself is completed in issue #80, and the diorama is completed in issue #100.

Mobile City X

The new smartphone game "Mobile City X" was also exhibited. A cosplayer lady was entertaining visitors.

Gaianotes

At the paint maker "Gaianotes," a cosplayers' sister gave visitors a tour of their products. Professional modelers also gave lectures on painting.

Hakoromo Foods

Hakaromo Foods, well-known for its sea chicken, also exhibited at the event. Sea chicken cars were on display, and there was a game tournament where visitors could win original goods.

General Dealers

General dealers also set up booths at the venue and sold original items.
Due to the nature of the event, many of the items were anime robot items. The items were as good as commercial figures!
