The first part of "G RECO" was screened and behind-the-scenes production was discussed at the stage event! C3AFATOKYO 2019", the last hobby festival of the summer vacation, Part 1!

C3AFATOKYO 2019, a character and hobby event that brings together all kinds of hobbies including anime, comics, special effects, novels, games, cosplay, figures, and models, was held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall over two days on August 24 and 25, 2019.

Various hobby manufacturers exhibited their booths at the event. In addition to exhibiting their new hobbies, they also sold limited-edition goods at the venue. Many hobby fans lined up to get in. On the main stage, a number of events were held to enliven the event.
In addition, there was a corner where general dealers exhibited and sold hobby items they had made themselves, making the event a true celebration of the hobby.

In this issue, we will introduce some of the items we found at the Bandai Group that caught our attention!

Namco Bandai Arts Inc.

The movie version of "Gundam G Reconguista" is scheduled to be released on November 29. The "G Reconguista Museum," which exhibited valuable materials, storyboards, and comments by staff members, attracted a lot of attention.
The compact booth was packed with so many fans that, without joking, there was no room to step on the floor! The high level of anticipation was evident.

There were also game-related exhibits.
In addition to a number of test stands where visitors could play the company's games, the "PAC-MAN CHALLENGE" allowed visitors to experience "PAC-MAN" in a VR space.

Bandai TAMASHII NATIONS

TAMASHII NATIONS, which offers high-quality figures and toys, unveiled a new chogokin item, "Shippu! Iron Leaguer," a popular Sunrise character representing the 1990s, was unveiled, and many people were busy taking pictures of it.
The popular heavy mobile suit "Zamel" from "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083" also attracted attention. Many people were delighted and impressed by this item, which, in proportion to its popularity, has not had many opportunities to be displayed in three-dimensional form.

Bandai Vendor Division

From the Vendor Division, which handles items that can be obtained through Gashapon and figures sold through Premium Bandai, there were again items for the general public.
Gundam-related items were on display, as well as new "Ojamajo Doremi" figures celebrating their 20th anniversary.

Bandai Candy Division

From the Candy Division, which handles premium toys, Converge, G FRAME

It's just huge!　They are big and full of power! The highlight of the lineup is the soft vinyl doll Raideen, whose size and sharp edges are irresistible! The size and sharp edges are irresistible! This is a product for adults.

Banpresto

Banpresto, which handles the Ichiban Kuji Lottery and prize items, has a large number of new items in its lineup. They are all hot items that you definitely want to get.
In particular, the new Gundam brand "MSConclution" is not to be missed by mecha hobby fans. The detail and attention to detail that overturns the common sense of prize items is a must-see!　The first item is the Nu Gundam.
Also in the lineup is Anastasia from "Idolmaster Cinderella Girls" from the new figure brand "ESPRESTO. This figure also attracted a lot of attention.

Other Bandai Group

The new "Gundam Model Kits" is the surprising "Kitty vs. Gundam! The collaboration video is currently being distributed up to the second episode, and the collaboration was also realized in kit form. Tears in Time: Kimi ga Miru⁉

The most notable of these was the "Mobile Suit Gundam" 40th anniversary stage. This stage was filled with topics to make the 40th anniversary more exciting, such as a 3-minute preview of the theater version of "Gundam G Reconguista I" whose release date was announced the day before, and the latest information on "Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE"! On stage were Takuya Sato, a voice actor known for his roles as Luin Lee in "G Reco" and Yuki Tatsuya in "Gundam Build Fighters," and Jumi, a TV personality active on the "Gundam Channel. Kobayashi Chiaki, who plays Hiroto, the main character in "Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE," took the stage as a surprise guest.

Mr. Sato, who was told by producer Naohiro Ogata that he could give spoilers for the theater version of "G Reco," said, "I have the script for 'II' in my bag now. There were many scenes I did not know! Mr. Tomino said he would do it (up to the 5th part) even if he dies, so as a Gundam fan, I want to look forward to it. Sato, who aspired to be a voice actor after watching Gundam, said, "It is exciting to work with Yoshiyuki Tomino, who is creative, competitive, and energetic. （When I look at the script (for the movie version of "G RECO"), I can see what he wanted to do and what he couldn't do in the TV version. I want everyone to see what Mr. Tomino wanted to show us," he said, expressing his expectations for "G RECO" as a performer and as a Gundam fan.

Mr. Kobayashi, who plays the main character Hiroto in "Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE," said, "I was nervous when I got the call that I had been chosen for the role. I was nervous. I thought I was allowed to ride a Gundam. Then I started to feel happy and called my mother. I will be 25 years old this year, and when I heard that Gundam is celebrating its 40th anniversary, I thought it was amazing that a single work could last for 40 years. I am deeply moved when I think that I wouldn't be standing here and I wouldn't have met the character Hiroto without the fans' support. I want to continue to make Gundam more exciting," he said, expressing his enthusiasm for playing the main character in the new series.
