The release date for "Given the Movie" is set for May 16! The theme song will be sung by Centimeter Mental. Newly-drawn key visuals are also unveiled!

The release date of "Given" has been set for May 16, 2020 (Saturday), and a newly-drawn key visual has also been released. It was also announced that the theme song for the film will be sung by "Sentimental," who also sang the theme song for the TV series.

Given" is a TV anime based on the BL comic series by Kizunatsuki serialized in "Sheri Plus" (Shinshokan), which aired from July to September 2019. This is the first time a BL comic has been adapted into an anime on "Noitamina" (Fuji TV).

It is a coming-of-age band story spun by a high school guitarist, Kaminoyama Tachinatsu (CV: Uchida Yuma), who has almost forgotten his passion for guitar, and Sato Mafuyu (CV: Yano Shogo), who has a mysterious singing voice. The series is directed by Hikaru Yamaguchi, with series composition by Yuniko Ayana and animation production by Lerche.

In the TV series, the main focus was on the sad and tender love between high school students Mafuyu and Rikka, but the movie will focus on the bitter and hot love between Haruki, Akihiko, and Akihiko's roommate, Ametsuki, who are also members of the same band.

In the key visual released this time, Haruki and Akihiko are depicted in the center against the background of a town where night and morning mix. Amezuki stands between the two, symbolizing the relationship between the three.

It has also been decided that the theme song for the film will be sung by Atsushi Atsushi's solo project "Sentimental. Details such as the title of the song are yet to be determined. Further information will be provided as soon as it is announced.

<Introduction>
