The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" will air on NHK E-television from April 6! New OP/ED theme has been decided! New PV also released!

Episodes 1-24 of the anime "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" will be broadcast on NHK E-television on Monday, April 6, 2020 at 10:50 p.m., with a new OP & ED theme.

The first volume of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" is the masterpiece of popular author Yoshiki Tanaka, and is a long SF novel published in 1982, followed by 10 volumes of the main story and 5 volumes of the external story.

Even now, more than 30 years after the first volume was published, the work has been developed into various media such as comics and stage performances, and in April 2018, the first season of the Production I.G-produced anime "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These," "Encounter," was broadcast on TV with a total of 12 episodes. Its sequel, the second season "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These Star Ran" was also produced in 2019 with a total of 12 episodes, divided into three chapters of 4 episodes each, and shown in theaters.

The OP theme will be "CRY" by SawanoHiroyuki [nZk] and the ED theme will be "Star of Light" by ELISA.

The new OP theme for this film will be performed by popular play-by-play artist Hiroyuki Sawano, who has created the accompaniment music for many hit anime works such as "Shinkage no Kyojin" and "Mobile Suit Gundam UC," and was also in charge of the "Encounter" OP theme and "Seiran" ED theme for "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These. project SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]. The title of the song is "CRY. The guest vocalist is mizuki, who is the vocalist of the music unit "UNIDOTS.

The ED theme song is "KAIKOU", the theme song for many hit anime and games such as "Magical High School", the animation movie "Expelled from Paradise", and the game "Fate/EXTELLA", and the ED theme song is "KAIKOU". The song is titled "Hikari no Hoshi" (Star of Light). The title of the song is "Hikari no Hoshi.

It has been two years since we released "WISH" as the ED of the first season "Encounter" of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" in 2018. I am very honored to be associated with this wonderful work again. We asked SIRA to write the lyrics for the new ED theme song "Hikari no Hoshi (Star of Light)", which will give you a new ELISA feeling. I have tried my best to keep the magnificent world view of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes". I would be happy if you could enjoy it as much as you want along with the work. I will enjoy it as much as I can.
