The fourth additional content for Switch's "Fire Emblem: Fuuka Yukigetsu" is available today!　In addition, free update Ver. 1.2.0 is also implemented!

Nintendo today announced the release of the fourth additional content and free update Ver. 1.2.0 for "Fire Emblem: Fuuka Yukigetsu," a title currently available on Switch, on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Fire Emblem: Fuuka Yukigetsu" is a simulation RPG released in July 2019, set on the continent of Fodra, where three major powers - the Adrastean Empire, the Holy Kingdom of Fergus, and the League of the Lords of Leicester - are all present. He also leads his students as a commander on the battlefield.

The fourth additional content includes the side story "Chapter of Soot and Darkness". Set in the underground "Abyss" of Garg-Mak Monastery, the story features students of the "Ash-Wolf Class (Wolfcrusade)," the fourth class following the Black Eagle, Blue Lion, and Golden Deer, who work together with the protagonists to fight against mysterious assailants. The game cycle is different from that of the main game, which alternates between school life and combat assignments, and there is no separation between weekdays and holidays. The units that can participate in the game are fixed. Furthermore, the funds and ores available at the Abyss are limited, so the repair and refining of weapons, a function of the blacksmith, must be used at the right time.

Although the level of difficulty is severe, as the story progresses, you will be able to scout for students from the Ashwolf's class and become a "Trickster" who uses swords and magic, a "Battle Monk/Battle Sister" who can handle axes and combat as well as white magic, a "Valkyria" who excels in black magic (a female-only position), a "Dark Pegasus" who can use black magic, and a "Dark Pegasus" who can use black magic in flight. The "Dark Pegasus" (a female-only position), a flying type that can use black magic, is a new type of soldier. With the free update Ver. 1.2.0, it is now possible to invite Archbishop Rhea of Garg-Mac Abbey to a tea party. Various additions and changes have also been made, including the addition of Bernadetta and her possible support partners in the "Benihana Chapter," and the ability to change all characters' outfits at once in the "Model Switching" section.
