Nihon Falcom announced that "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Dawn Mobile," a mobile version of the browser-based RPG "The Legend of Heroes: Trailsof Dawn, " will be available from August 27, 2012.

This title shares the same worldview as the popular RPG "Locus" series. It depicts the adventures of rookie rangers Nacht and Chloe in the Autonomous Province of Crosbel and the Kingdom of Revere. In addition, many characters from past works, such as Tita and Lloyd, also make appearances. The game also allows players to form parties that would not have been possible in the original work.

The battle system uses the "AT ( Action Time ) Battle" familiar from the "Kiseki" series. Under the turn-based battle system, the opponents and allies act in the order determined by the "AT bar". Character actions such as attack and defense always have a "delay. The larger the delay, the more turns it takes until the next action is taken. The key to victory is knowing the order of actions.
