PC software maker TYPE-MOON establishes new studio "TYPE-MOON studio BB"! Comments from Kazuya Shinnou, Takashi Takeuchi, and Kinoko Nasu have arrived!

PC software maker TYPE-MOON announced the establishment of a new studio, TYPE-MOON studio BB ("studio BB"), on August 30, 2019, to take on the challenge of developing new games.

The studio director of "studio BB" is Kazuya Shinnou, a game creator who has worked on "Fate/EXTRA," "The Labyrinth of the World Tree," and "Dragon Quest Builders.

He will work with TYPE-MOON creators such as Takashi Takeuchi and Kinoko Nasu and their teams to develop games that further extend the TYPE-MOON worldview.

The positions currently available are "programmer," "art designer," "game designer," and "project manager.

studio BB is a new studio established by TYPE-MOON to take on the challenge of developing new games.
We hope to deliver the charm of the TYPE-MOON world to you in the form of a wide variety of games in cooperation with Takashi Takeuchi and Kinoko Nasu, as well as many other creators and publishers.

studio BB plans to develop games in two main areas: medium to large scale 3D games developed in cooperation with outside developers, and small scale 2D games developed in-house.

I still cannot forget the shock I felt when he handed me the proposal for "Fate/EXTRA" and said, "Take a look at this project.
It was a love letter to Kinoko Nasu and TYPE-MOON's works, a letter of challenge, and a map inviting me to an adventure.
For us at TYPE-MOON, Kazuya Shinnou is a black ship.
He is an adventurer who appears from a new land and brings about change. With him, a new TYPE-MOON will begin.
I can't stop being excited to see Shinna-san's smile as he unfolds the map of adventure, just as he did back then.
