TV Anime "GINTAMA" x "MONSTROKE" Collaboration, Part 2 is coming! Collaboration anime "Gintama: Monster Strike Version" is now available!

The smartphone game "Monster Strike" (hereafter "MonSt") announced that the second collaboration with the TV anime "Gintama" will begin on September 2 (Monday) at 12:00 pm!
To commemorate this event, the collaboration anime "Gintama: Monster Strike Version" was released on August 29 (Thu.). In addition, a campaign is underway to win original goods specially made for the collaboration by writing your impressions of the collaboration anime.

Gintama" is a popular comic series serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) by Hideaki Sorachi, which has sold more than 55 million copies in total. Although the series was announced to end in September 2018, it is still being serialized in 2019, switching from "Weekly Shonen Jump" to "Shonen Jump GIGA 2019 WINTER" and "Gintama Official App". It continued to be serialized while switching publication media, reaching its final installment on June 20, 2019.

The second collaboration between this work and "MonSt" will be held on Monday, September 2, starting at 12:00 pm. The collaboration anime "Gintama: Monster Strike Edition" was released on August 29 (Thursday).

The "Gintama x MonSt" collaboration anime, created to commemorate this collaboration, began distribution on MonSt's official YouTube channel on August 29 (Thu.). In the full-scale anime produced by the Gintama production staff, many Gintama characters, including the members of Bankotsuya led by Gintoki Sakata, and MonSt characters appeared in the anime and co-starred in the storyline.

At first, we were going to make a story about Kondo-san's XX balls as a strike shot, but we didn't have the courage to make such a proposal to Mixi-san, and as a result, we ended up with the current form. Looking back on it with a cool head, I think we misunderstood the worldview of MonSt a bit.
I would be very happy if everyone who watched the collaborative anime would play MonSt with the intention of striking XX balls.

MonSt" collaborated with "Gintama" for the first time in May 2018, and this will be the second collaboration.

In this collaboration, characters from the second "Gintama" collaboration will appear for a limited time. All characters' voices have been newly recorded, and "Gintama" fans can enjoy familiar lines with new voices. In addition, Taizo Hasegawa (★5) will be given to players who clear the target stage and certain conditions.
