Nekoneko Nihonshi" is a popular historical comedy that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, depicting a loose Japanese history with "cats" dressed up as historical figures.
The "Nekoneko Nihonshi" is currently being broadcast as an anime on NHK E-television, and its serialization in the Yomiuri KODOMO newspaper is also gaining popularity! ～and will be released in theaters nationwide on Saturday, February 22, 2020 (Nyan Nyan Nyan Day).

＜Synopsis
Fuku is an elementary school cat who loves napping and is a bit of a pain in the ass.
He accidentally gets on Yachan, a crow-shaped time machine built by his grandfather, and travels back in time to old Japan!
In the place where he travels back in time, he meets Sakamoto Ryoma.
Fuku and Sakamoto Ryoma find out that they cannot return to their original time unless they make "karuta" of each time period.
In order to create the karuta, Fuku and Ryoma travel through many eras on the Yacchan. Many great people (cats) appear, from Himiko, Prince Shotoku, Nobunaga Oda, the Shinsengumi, to Perry! The greatest adventure in the history of cats begins with Fuku and Ryoma Sakamoto!
