High School Fleet the Movie," the latest installment of the original "High School Fleet" anime series, has been showing in theaters nationwide to rave reviews since January 18, 2020 (Saturday). On February 12 (Wed.), a "4DX Test Ride" will be held to experience the 4DX screening prior to the release of the film. The test-ride event was attended by Natsukawa Vertebrae. Shiina Natsukawa (Akeno Misaki), Lynn (Mashiro Soya), Yuko Kurose (Sachiko Nosa), Naomi Ozora (Susan Reges), and Takaaki Suzuki (original idea and script) will participate in the test-ride event. After the screening, the four, who had just enjoyed the film, spoke enthusiastically about the high affinity between this film and 4DX.

High School Fleet" is a fusion of a coming-of-age ensemble drama featuring attractive characters such as Akeno Misaki, captain of the educational ship "Harukaze," and fleet battle scenes based on a meticulously researched setting that will appeal to military fans. The latest "High School Fleet the Movie," the culmination of the "High School Fleet" series, depicts the girls facing a "crisis" (pinch) that comes again with new characters.

The 4D version, which opens on February 14 (Fri.), features seats that move vertically and horizontally, water spraying from the front and above, smoke and flashes around the screen, and other various devices that combine with the newly brushed-up images to create an even more realistic experience than the original version. The climactic naval battle scene, in particular, features the movement of the ship as it bounces on the waves, the spray from the water column when a bullet lands, and the many other challenges that await the "Harukaze" unfold with the great power that only 4D can provide.

In addition, the characters enjoying the welcoming ceremony are also shown in 4D, with the shaking corresponding to their casual reactions and the mysterious scent of the bath scene, creating a new movie experience that makes you feel as if you were there.

The cast and crew were among the first to experience the powerful 4D version. In an interview after the screening, Ohzora enthusiastically stated, "I was told to 'brace for impact' during a scene in the film, and I really braced myself in my seat. Kurose, who also recalled that the film was as powerful as the line "Brace for impact," said, "I thought the 4D version of the film was well worth seeing! and praised the high affinity between this film and 4DX screening.

Lynn, too, said that the vibrations of the ship, the splashes of water, and the sea breeze made him feel as if he were there, and continued, "This is already an interesting film, but the 4D version makes it even more fun. Natsukawa said, "I myself have seen the film several times, but when I saw the 4D version, it was as fresh as if I was seeing it for the first time." She then gave a message to the fans who had already enjoyed the film, urging them to experience the charm of the 4D version, which is different from the regular version.

While the cast members were sharing their passionate impressions, Suzuki, who wrote and drafted the script, said, "When I was writing the script, I thought 'High School Fleet' itself was a work suited for 4D. The cast and crew were also very satisfied with the "Theatre" production.

The 4D version (4DX/MX4D) of "High School Fleet the Movie," which the cast and staff are also very satisfied with, will begin showing in screens around Japan on February 14, 2020 (Friday).
