The theatrical version of "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 3 FIRST INSPECTOR" will be released in theaters for a limited two-week period starting on March 27, 2020 (Friday). At the same time, a key visual for the film and information on advance ticket sales were also announced.

The original science fiction animation "PSYCHO-PASS: Psycho-Pass" is set in a near-future society where the psychological state of humans is quantified and managed, and depicts a police force whose justice is questioned. The first TV anime season aired in October 2012, the second in October 2014, and the third in October 2019.

The film version "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 3 FIRST INSPECTOR," which will be released in theaters for two weeks starting Friday, March 27, 2020, is the latest installment in the series and is a "special edition" of the third TV anime season "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 3. The story centers on the surveillance officers Shaku Shindu and Jion Mikhail Ignatov, and the case of the "fox" that the Detective Section 1 is pursuing, and the battle between Shaku and Jion finally comes to a conclusion.
