Crowdfunding for the VR anime adaptation of "Mr. Takagi the Teasing Teacher," whose second TV anime season has been airing on TOKYO MX and other stations since July 7, 2019, started today, September 4, 2019 (Wednesday).

The "Mr. Takagi the Teasing Teacher" is a popular manga by Soichiro Yamamoto serialized in "Gessan" (Shogakukan). It is a love comedy depicting the casual interaction between "Takagi-san" and "Nishikata-kun," two junior high school classmates. The manga depicts the daily life of Takagi-san, who teases Nishikata-kun in a suggestive manner, and Nishikata-kun, who is interested in Takagi-san despite being pushed around; it was made into a TV anime from January to March 2018 and was very popular with many viewers who "grinned" at their interactions.
In the February issue of Gessan, released on Saturday, January 12,2019, the decision to produce the second season of the TV anime "Mr. Takagi, the Master of Teasing" was announced.

The crowdfunding for the VR anime adaptation of "Mr. Takagi the teasing friend", whose second TV anime season has been airing on TOKYO MX and other stations since July 7, started today, September 4, 2019 (Wednesday).

The "Mr. Takagi the Teasing Friend VR" is a next-generation VR animation production project that allows viewers to simulate the teasing of Mr. Takagi from the perspective of the main character, Nishikata. This VR animation will allow viewers to experience Mr. Takagi's teasing from a very close distance, not only in the very popular episodes of the original work, but also in the original VR storyline.
Furthermore, by utilizing the much talked-about Oculus Quest as the VR experience device, it is possible to experience things that overturn conventional VR animation, such as going home from school side by side with Mr. Takagi in the VR space, or playing beach ball in the ocean.

A crowdfunding campaign is currently underway on "Makuake" for the production of this VR animation.

Just once, I would like to be teased by Mr. Takagi from Nishikata's point of view....
