TV anime "Diamond A act II" 2nd cool opening theme, a new GLAY song written by TERU & TAKURO!

A sequel to the popular baseball anime "Diamond A act II" has been airing on TV Tokyo from April 2, 2019. A new song by GLAY will be used as its opening theme, continuing from the first episode.

The original "Dia no A act II" (Yuji Terashima) is a popular manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). The latest comic, volume 15, is scheduled to be released on January 17 (Thu.) The TV anime "A of Diamonds" had aired its first and second seasons from October 2013 to March 2016.

The sequel to the popular baseball anime, "Dia no A act II," is now airing on TV Tokyo from April 2, 2019. A new song by GLAY will be used as its opening theme, continuing from the first cool season.

The anime series "Dia no A" has already had a new song by GLAY written by TERU as the opening theme for four consecutive titles, but this time the music was composed by TERU and the lyrics by TAKURO.
It is a dance-rock number, with DJ Mass MAD Izm*, who has worked with GLAY many times, as arranger, and Seiji Kameda as producer. Up until now, most of the songs on this album have been refreshing numbers, but "Meteor's Howl" is a different take on the same theme.

TERU also wrote three of the four songs on the single released on July 2 (Wed.), and there is no doubt that TERU's ability to create music has been evolving here.

I am very honored to be in charge of the theme song for the TV anime "Dia no A" again!
The previous songs were songs that suited the blue sky with youth in mind, but this time, I took a completely different approach by creating the songs from the viewpoint of the side that lost the game.
I believe that this song will bring the power to never give up to the people who listen to it.
