When I saw this news, I honestly shuddered! How generous are you, Nintendo? I was shaken to my core.

And to coincide with this distribution, a wireless SNES-type controller is also available for pre-order exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers!

Unable to contain my excitement, I decided to practice with the actual device (which is usually used exclusively for Dungeon Master) before the online distribution begins! Also, among the 20 titles that will be available for download, I will introduce "10 recommendations," including some that are a bit geeky, so please take a look at them.

Super Mario Kart

A well-known classic. The Mario Kart series, for which new titles are still being released for subsequent machines, began here. At the time of its release, the game was mostly played in the versus mode and against the computer, but as the game matured, time attack games gradually became more popular! Some players even beat the time announced by Nintendo officials, and the heated battle still rages on.

SUPER E.D.F.

The arcade game "E.D.F." released by JALECO in 1991 was ported to the SNES in the same year as "SUPER E.D.F.".

At the time, so-called side-scrolling shooters such as "Gradius" and "R-TYPE" were in full bloom, and JALECO joined the fray.

The system was not that new, but the beautiful graphics and light sound made you want to see the next stage! The system is not so new, but the beautiful graphics and light sound will make you want to see the next stage!

Cho-Makai Mura

This is the third title in Capcom's popular "Makai Mura" series. The first "Makai-Mura" was a huge hit in arcades and was ported to the Famicom (NES) and other platforms. The sequel "Daimakai-Mura" was also a huge hit, with a level of perfection that did not compromise its gameplay at all. The platform was then moved to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), and this title, "Cho Makai Mura" was released.

In the original "Makai-mura," the player could only attack left and right, but in "Daimakai-mura," the player could attack up, down, left, and right (and jump down for the lower part), and in "Cho-Makai-mura," the player could no longer attack up and down, but "two-step jump" appeared. Although the tempo of the game has slowed down somewhat, it is one of the best in terms of both its completion and difficulty.

Demon's Blazon: Makai-mura: Monkai-hen

The name is Red Arrymer, the red devil. I can't tell you how many times I've been made to wear underpants or become "bones" by his dive tackle. ...... The first game in which Red Arrymer was the main character was "Red Arrymer: Makai Mura Gaiden" (Game Boy), released in 1990. I was astonished at the time that a game starring Red Arhimar would be released! I was astonished at the time. This game for the Super Famicom (SNES) features Red Arhimar as the main character. The detailed and beautiful graphics are sure to knock your socks off!

Rushing Beat: Duplicate City

Amidst the so-called belt-scroll action boom of games like "Double Dragon" and "Final Fight," the "Rushing Beat" series was released rather quietly and stealthily. Three titles have been released in total, and "Rushing Beat: Duplicate City" is the second in the series.

Players can select their favorite character from among five characters. Although it is a little rough compared to games such as "Final Fight," it is an enjoyable game with detailed exchanges of techniques such as grappling back and forth.

Wild Tracks

This is a racing game that uses the "Super FX Chip," a special chip that was also installed in "Star Fox," which will be distributed at the same time! However, because it was a latecomer to the Super Famicom (SNES), and at the same time, it was not very interesting to the general public due to its plain appearance, and became a type of game appreciated by a few enthusiasts. However, it still has ardent fans who are still engaged in hot time attacks like those of "F-ZERO. With this delivery, it is no surprise that it is a breakthrough! It is truly a hidden masterpiece.

The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce of the Gods

The first "The Legend of Zelda," the first title released on the NES Disk System and later as a ROM cassette, has been supercharged for the SNES! The game features a spectacular worldview and new actions such as the spinning slash. I was astonished by the magnificent worldview, new actions such as the spinning slash, and the many well-crafted gimmicks and battles with boss characters. This is a masterpiece that still has many fans in Japan and abroad, and is considered by many to be the best in the Zelda series.

Super Mario Yoshi's Island

Yoshi, now firmly established as one of Nintendo's most popular characters, plays a major role as the main character in this title. In terms of the story, it is also involved in the secret of Mario and Luigi's birth. What must not be forgotten when discussing this work is its unique graphics! I was amazed at the time by the soft and ultra-beautiful graphics, just like a picture book. What I remember most are the unique boss battles. In particular, the tremendous sense of fear I felt during the final battle against Bowser still traumatizes me to this day. ......

Supa-PuyoPuyo Street

The popular puzzle game "Puyo Puyo" released by Compile is now available in "2" = "Dori"! This game is designed to be played against other players, and many game fans still recommend this game when they think of "Puyo Puyo" as a tool to play against other players. The introduction of systems such as "Offset," "Quick Turn," and "All Out" made the battles even more exciting.

Super Metroid

The first Super Metroid was released in 1986 for the Family Computer Disk System. At the time, the game's difficult system and somewhat "scary" atmosphere were not well received by children, and it was not a big hit! Overseas, there are many maniacs who challenge Time Attack, and records are still being rewritten every day.

How was it? When listing recommended titles like this, the emphasis is inevitably placed on factors such as sales and name recognition, but for this article, we chose games that we think you should definitely play. In our current series, "The Switch: The Legendary Backstage Challenge! The Legendary Behind-the-Scenes Challenge! I'll also be covering SNES titles coming to Switch in the future, so please look forward to that as well!
