A stage adaptation of "Laughs" is coming! Fukuzo Mokuro will be played by Ryuji Sato, popular for his roles in musicals such as "Sword Dance!

Fujiko Fujio A.'s manga "Laughshelf Man" will be adapted to the stage as "'Laughshelf Man' THE STAGE". Ryuji Sato will play the role of Fukuzo Moguro, and Kensaku Kobayashi will direct. The Tokyo production will run from Thursday, April 23 to Sunday, May 3, 2020, and the Hyogo production from Thursday, May 7 to Sunday, May 10, 2020.

Laughs and Smiles" is a black humor manga by Fujiko Fujio A., the creator of many popular manga that transcended generations, including "Kaibutsu-kun" and "Ninja Hattori-kun".
It first appeared in Big Comic (Shogakukan) in 1968 as "Kuroi-selusuman," and was adapted into an anime in 1989 as "Laughselusuman" for the variety show "Gimia Bureiku. Although it was a serialized seinen manga, which is rare among Fujiko's works, the omnibus format, the eerie character of Mokuro, and the signature line, "Dawn! In April 2017, the series was re-animated for the first time in 28 years as "Laughshelf Man NEW.

The main character is the mysterious salesman Mokuro Fukuzo. Mokuro Fukuzo approaches customers with various desires and offers them things and opportunities to make their wishes come true. The customers are happy for a while, but they break their promises to Mouryoukuro or do not heed his advice, and often end up ruining their lives.


Fukuzo Mokuro will be played by Ryuji Sato, an active actor whose credits include the roles of Kiyomitsu Kashu in the "Sword Dance" musical series and Sasuke Uchiha in the live spectacular "NARUTO.

The production will be directed by Ryuji Sato, a founding member of the Dance Company Condors, and the director of the Gakuran Revue "Teiichi no Kuni" series, the stage "Patarillo! series, and the highly acclaimed 2.5D musical "Patarillo!
