A special event for the TV anime "Chihayafuru 3," which has been airing since October 23, 2019, will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2020.

Chihayafuru 3" is a TV anime based on the competitive karuta manga series written by Yuki Suetsugu in "BE・LOVE" (Kodansha) since 2008. The first anime season was broadcast in 2011, the second in 2013, and the third in two consecutive seasons starting October 23, 2019.

The event will feature Masami Seto playing the role of Chihaya Ayase, Mamoru Miyano playing the role of Taichi Majima, and Kohei Horiuchi and Kota Horiuchi from the rock band "99RadioService," who performed the opening theme from the first to the third season.

A priority sales application ticket for this event will be enclosed in the second volume of the "Chihayafuru 3" Blu-ray BOX and DVD-BOX to be released on March 25 (Wed.). The priority application period is from March 25 (Wed.), 2020 at 10:00 to April 26 (Sun.), 2020 at 23:59, and the lottery results will be available after May 1 (Fri.), 2020 at 13:00. Priority applications will not be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
