To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of the classic "Alien Soldier" software for the Mega Drive on Monday, February 24, 2020, a "Mega Drive Mini W. Asia Edition" containing the software will be released in limited quantities. The price is 8,980 yen (excluding tax), and pre-orders are being accepted starting today, February 21 (Friday).

Alien Soldier" is the fifth Mega Drive software developed by "Treasure," the artisan group that brought us "Gunstar Heroes. The game was highly acclaimed by players at the time for its unique world view, battles against a series of 45 bosses, advanced technology, and hopeless but challenging difficulty level.

In addition to "Alien Soldier," the "Mega Drive Mini W Asia Edition" includes a total of 42 titles, including 9 titles that were not included in the Japanese edition.
