The Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair 2019 (hereafter referred to as "Kyoto Mafu 2019") will be held on September 21 (Sat.) and 22 (Sun.), 2019. We have compiled a list of "Sword Art Online" information that you can enjoy at this event, so let's get started.

Sword Art Online" (SAO) is an anime work based on the novel by Reki Kawahara, winner of the 15th Dengeki Novel Award (Grand Prize), which depicts the activities of the main character Kirito in the mysterious next-generation online game "Sword Art Online". On February 18, 2017, the anime film "SAO the Movie: Ordinal Scale," based on a story written by Kawahara, was released. It was a huge hit, with box-office revenues exceeding 4.3 billion yen worldwide. Sword Art Online -Ex Chronicle- in KYOTO" KYOMAFU SPECIAL TICKET
The first tickets will be on sale at Aniplex Boo (No.326) of "Kyoto International Manga & Anime Fair (KIMAFU) 2019" on September 21 and 22 (Sat. and Sun.)! A set of limited-edition goods only available at KYOMAFU will also be sold.

Tickets will be sold in the following two limited slots.
(1) January 31 (Fri.) Entrance time [10:00~11:00].
(2) Saturday, February 1, admission time [10:00 - 11:00].
Price: 5,000 yen (tax included)
Set contents: Original ticket, ticket holder, newly-drawn acrylic mascot

Live broadcast of SAO Stage will be held!

At the Kyoto International Manga & Anime Fair (KIMAF) 2019 to be held on September 21 and 22 (Sat. and Sun.), the SAO Stage will be broadcast live on AbemaTV for two days in a row! In addition, the latest PV of "SAO Arization WoU," the latest chapter of the series that will start airing in October, will be unveiled for the first time in the world on the stage on September 21 (Sat).

First public showing of the original figure of "Asuna in Kyo Yuzen"!

The original figure of Asuna wearing Kyo Yuzen, which is being produced as part of the "Asuna Yuki's Avatar Asuna Wearing Kyo Yuzen" project, will be unveiled at the "SAO Figure Exhibition"! In addition, a hand-painted Kyo-Yuzen figure, created by Kyoto craftsmen in the image of the avatar Undine, will also be on display at the same time.

In this project, a Kyoto kimono wholesaler and a Kyoto-based company have teamed up to create a "real" Kyo-Yuzen figure of Asuna in the VR world. The "Asuna in Kyo-Yuzen kimono" will be made into a figurine by ANIPLEX+'s original brand "WAHOO!

Haruka Tomatsu, wearing Asuna's hand-painted Kyo Yuzen kimono, also took the stage at the "Kyo Mafu Stage! She will be presenting new information on the 10th anniversary of SAO with Matsuoka-san and Tomatsu-san.
