The 4DX version of the 1989 animated feature film "Mobile Police Patlabor the Movie" will be screened on April 17, 2020 (Friday).

The first OVA series of "Mobile Police Patlabor" was produced in April 1988, and since then, this popular work has been developed in a variety of media, including animated films, TV series, new OVA series, manga, novels, games, and live-action films. Mobile Police Patlabor the Movie" is the first theatrical version of "Mobile Police Patlabor.

The story takes place in Tokyo Bay in the summer of 1999. A prototype Reaver of the Self-Defense Forces suddenly goes out of control while unmanned. In addition, a computer virus planted by someone causes a series of work reavers to go out of control in various locations in Tokyo! The story is that the police officers of the 2nd Platoon of the Metropolitan Police Department's 2nd Special Vehicle Division are in pursuit of the missing culprit and challenge him to a decisive battle in Tokyo Bay.
