Two new trailers for PS4's "New Sakura Taisen" are now available!

New Sakura Wars" is the latest installment in the "Sakura Wars" series and will be released on PS4. Sega Games announced that two trailers for this title have been released.

New Sakura Wars" is a dramatic 3D action adventure set in the fictional Imperial capital of Tokyo in the Taisho Era, and follows the exploits of the "Teikoku Kagekidan" as they fight against evil. The main character design is by Kubo Taito, known for his work on the manga "BLEACH" serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha). The music is by Kouhei Tanaka, who has provided many songs for previous titles in the series. The story will be composed by Ishiijiro, who is active in a variety of media including games, TV animation, and movies.

Sega Games is currently exhibiting at the Tokyo Game Show 2019, which is being held from September 12 to 14. The company has released a "Story Trailer" and a "Game Trailer" at the show.


In the story trailer, you can see the "Kagekidan War," in which Kagekidan from all over the world gather to fight for the championship, the new Berlin Kagekidan, the mysterious enemy Yasha, and other details related to the worldview and characters.


The game trailer, on the other hand, focuses on the game's systems. It explains the adventure part, in which you can interact with members of the Kagekidan and explore the Imperial Capital, and the battle part, which is characterized by action using the "Quantum Fighter". In particular, the battle part, which has changed from the standard turn-based simulation to real-time action, is a must-see.


In conjunction with this release, the details of the Hakurin Kagekidan members and their enemies, such as the Yasha, were also revealed. ■Eris (CV: Nana Mizuki)


Captain of the Hakurin Kagekidan/Schwarzstern. 18 years old. She is very faithful to her assigned tasks and fights resolutely even in the most difficult missions. She is a man of few words, but she possesses the mental strength and leadership ability to stay strong no matter what. She is interested in the depth of Japanese culture and can often be seen watching kabuki performances in the capital.



■Margarete (CV: Rie Kugimiya)


A 15-year-old member of the Hakurin Kagekidan Schwarzstern. She is a genius girl who serves as the operational strategist for the Hakurin Kagekidan. She speaks her mind straight and has a sharp tongue. Many of the operations she proposes are considered impractical and difficult, and only members of the Hakurin Kagekidan are able to carry them out with their high abilities.



■Yasha (CV: Tomosa Yokoyama)

A senior demon who suddenly appeared in the Imperial Capital with a disaster at the opening ceremony of the HAKURIN KAGETSUDAN Taisen. He is searching for a tool called the "Imperial Key. He looks like the former top star of the Hanagumi of the Imperial Blowout Squadron, but what is his true identity?



Reiko fighter "Eisenjaeger


The Hakurin Kagekidan's Reiko fighter. It was developed as a spirit fighter that inherits the lineage of the "Eisenkreis," which was once operated by the European Star League. It is a powerful machine with heavy armor and tremendous firepower, and has the appearance of a strong man who can conquer the hearts and minds of his enemies.

Puppet Kihei Kamisu


This is a puppet machine driven by Yasha, and powered by the power of demons. Although more than one size larger than the Reiko fighter, it is characterized by its agile maneuverability and powerful attacks with its sword.

It is a strange feeling to participate in the "Sakura Wars" series as one of the designers, having played the series as a user. I was nervous about having my own artwork in the series, but I had already seen Mr. Kubo's main characters, whose images had been completely renewed, so I was able to add my own color without being too self-conscious. I hope that the Hakurin Kagekidan will be loved by players.
