Recommended game introduction! Arc the Lad R, a legitimate sequel to the classic RPG "Arc the Lad" series released on PS1

Arc the Lad R has been available on iOS/Android and Windows since November 2018. It is a simulation RPG for smartphones that is a legitimate sequel to the "Arc Zarad" series released on PlayStation. It is produced by the staff who worked on "Arc the Lad I and II".

The story in this title takes place after "Arc Zarad II". The world has suffered an unprecedented disaster, the "Great Collapse," which has sunk half the continent and wiped out most of the human race. While countries are striving to recover, the Ardia Empire, which has restored the civilization that existed before the collapse, is rapidly expanding its power. A young boy named Harto, who belongs to a vigilante group, throws himself into an epic battle as he encounters various people, including a mysterious girl named Mizuha.


Most of the main characters in this story are new, making it easy for those unfamiliar with the "Arc the Lad" series to get into the game. On the other hand, characters from past titles are also involved, making it possible for fans of the series to enjoy the game as well.


Battles in this title are turn-based, as in the series. The characters move on a square-shaped field to fight enemies. In addition, when the lines of light emitted by fellow players are connected, a "support effect" overlaps, enabling powerful attacks to be launched. The placement of units and enemies is important. While strategy is the real appeal of this game, the game also has an auto-function, so those who are not good at simulation-type games will have no problem.


All of the characters in the battles can be evolved to the highest rarity. The "Spirit Board" can be used to acquire new abilities. The fact that you are not limited by the rarity of the characters makes it possible to organize a party with a high degree of freedom.
