Anime "MUGEN NO SHODUNIN-IMMORTAL" PV vol.2 released! The opening theme is decided to be "SURVIVE OF VISION" by Kiyoharu!

The second PV for the anime "Mugen no Nezumi - IMMORTAL," which will be exclusively distributed on Amazon Prime Video in October 2019, has been released!

The series has sold over 5.8 million copies in total and is the debut and masterpiece of manga artist Hiroaki Samura, "Mugen no Neojyu" (Resident of Infinity). The "Neo Jidai Geki" series, which depicts Butei and Manji's journey of revenge, has been serialized for 20 years, and after numerous film adaptations, it has now been re-animated as a complete version. Currently, 15 volumes are being published as a <new edition>. In addition, "Mugen no Suminin - Bakumatsu no Sho", the official sequel, is currently being serialized in "Afternoon".

＜Introduction
In the Edo period (1603-1867), a samurai warrior still existed. There was an "immortal" man who was called "Hyakunin-slayer". His name was Manji. Manji meets a girl named "Butei" who swears revenge for the murder of her mother and father. Butei asks Manji if he will be her bouncer on her journey of revenge. At first Manji refuses, but then he sees in Butei the image of his dead sister. But Manji sees the image of his lost sister in Butei, and seeing that Butei is in danger of going it alone, he decides to lend a helping hand. However, Butei's revenge is a group of people who are dedicated to mastering the way of the sword - the Itsuto-ryu. This means the beginning of a terrible battle to the death, in which even the immortal Manji will be hunted down.

■Manji
Manji is a one-eyed samurai who is known as the "100-killer" for the crime of killing his own lord and 100 of his followers. A mysterious old woman, Ya Hyakuhigauni, implanted in him the ultimate life-prolonging technique, the Kusen-mushi, which has made him immortal. He becomes a bouncer for Butei, the only daughter of the Muten Ichiryu Asano Dojo, and is assigned to avenge her death.
He is actually a man of duty and compassion, but he hides it with his blunt attitude and words.

Asano Buto
The daughter of Asano Toragen, the head of the Muten Ichiryu Asano Dojo, which was said to be the strongest dojo in Edo. Two years ago, her parents were killed by Amatsu Kagehisa, the master of Itto-ryu, who came to break into the dojo. While training alone to avenge her parents' death, Ya Hyakuhigaun nun recommended her to hire Manji as a bouncer.
He hates to lose, but he is also a good-natured and kind-hearted person.

Kagehisa Amatsu
The second generation master of Itto-ryu. Since his childhood, he has been under the strict training of his grandfather, Saburo Amatsu, who was excommunicated from the Muten Ichiryu, and is a prodigy with a prodigious skill with the sword. In order to unify all the schools in the country under Itto-ryu, he has begun working with black robes and wesen, and has many dojos under his control.
His face is quiet, but his ambition burns within him.

Wesu Daido
A swordsman of the Itsuto-ryu style. He has a hatred for the samurai class since his younger sister was killed by a samurai when he was a child. He is skilled at reading the moves of his opponents and is a wily fighter. He is a hard-nosed and righteous character.

Black-robed Sabahito
A huge, armored, long-sword wielding Itto-ryu swordsman, Sabajin is a master of the swordsmanship style. He killed Butei's father, Torayoshi Asano, during an attack on the Asano Dojo two years ago. He has known Kagehisa Amatsu since he was a child, and is one of the oldest members of the Itto school.

KANMA Eikoku
During the Warring States period, an old woman who was believed to be Ya Hyakubigaun nun implanted a blood sacrificial worm in a samurai's body, making him immortal. After losing his lord in battle, he wandered around the country and eventually found refuge in the Itsuto-ryu school led by Amatsu Kageku.

Makie Ototachibana
A female swordsman recognized by Kagehisa Amatsu, the leader of the Itto school, as "the only swordsman in the world who can defeat him. She works as a prostitute in a small brothel, but Kagehisa Amatsu takes her under his wing and makes her an assassin of the Itsuto-ryu. She is a woman with exceptional swordsmanship, but because she is a woman, she is doomed.

Sosuke Abayama
Sosuke Abayama is a swordsman of the Itto school and the guardian of Kagehisa Amatsu. He is the guardian of Amatsu Kagehisa, and therefore acts as acting head of the clan in Kagehisa's absence. He is a one-armed samurai who has lost his right arm and has only his left.
