A collaboration between the anime "Macross" and Lake Sagami Resort, "Macross Illumination LIVE!!!!!! in Lake Sagami Illumination" will be held from November 2, 2019.
Since "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross" was broadcast in 1982, the "Macross" series has been a milestone in robot animation for 37 years, with works centered on TV animation, OVA, and theatrical productions, and numerous hit songs.
The series is characterized by its original worldview, which weaves together three elements: songs, the mechanical action of the variable fighter "Valkyrie," and a love triangle drama. A completely new work, "Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!!" is also in the works.
At the outdoor resort complex "Lake Sagami Resort Pleasure Forest," from November 2, 2019 (Saturday) to January 7, 2020 (Tuesday), "Macross Illumination LIVE!!!!!!", an event in collaboration with the popular robot animation series "Macross" with a 37-year history in Lake Sagami Illumination" will be held from Saturday, January 7 to Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
MACROSS CROSSOVER LIVE 2019 (Hall 1-3, Makuhari Messe, June 2019)" featuring artists from the series, which attracted approximately 26,000 people over two days, and "Macross", which attracts people with its LIVE, and "SAGAMI The collaboration was realized because of the match between "Macross" and "Lake Sagami Illumillion," which is characterized by the fantastic glow of 6 million lights and darkness.
This project features the "Fairy of the Galaxy" Sheryl Nome from "Macross F", "Cinderella of the Super Dimension" Ranka Lee, and the "Tactical Music Unit" Valkyrie from "Macross Delta". The divas from the "Valkyrie" unit of "Macross Delta" will perform in a dream come true, enlivening the entire park.
The main attraction is the "Macross Illumination LIVE!!!!!!", a fusion of "images, music, and light" held by the divas Sheryl, Ranka, and Valkyrie. .
During the event period, there will also be other events that Macross fans will be able to enjoy throughout the day, such as the "Gokuraku Pilot," a swinging attraction decorated to make visitors feel like Valkyrie pilots, and a collaboration with the "Rainbow Lift," so be sure to check it out.
