The popular manga "Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san", which has been in the planning stage for an anime adaptation, will be released as a theatrical animation in 2020.

Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san" is a manga work by Shogo Sugitani (Ningen Plamo) published on the illustration and manga contribution site pixiv. Set in the movie capital of Nyaliwood, the story centers on Joel Davidovich Pomponette (a.k.a. Mr. Pompo), a talented producer, and Jean Fini, a young production assistant, and the people involved in movie production.

When the film was released in April 2017, it quickly exceeded 500,000 PV, and a book version was decided to be published at an exceptionally fast pace. The comic was released on August 26 (Sat), and "anime adaptation project in progress" was announced on the obi of the comic.
