TGS2019] Get your treasures! We collected novelties that you can get at each booth of Tokyo Game Show 2019 again this year!
Tokyo Game Show 2019 (TGS2019 ) is being held from Thursday, September 12 to Sunday, September 15, 2019. Akiba Research Institute has collected novelty goods that you can get at each booth again this year!
What novelties are there this year...? We will introduce them hereafter.
⇒Let's get some souvenirs from TGS2018! I got novelties at each booth!
This year, in addition to a very large lineup of original consumer titles, there were also a number of highly anticipated numbered titles and new IP Western games on display, so there was plenty to see and do.
First up was the Capcom booth. Capcom is known for its novelties every year, so you can't miss this booth.
Don't underestimate MonHun... Monster Hunter World: Iceborn is a title that was just released on September 6 as a very large expansion content for Monster Hunter World.
It's already on sale, so why bother trying it out? Don't you think? But this time, the novelty is quite cool! You can get an "icon bag" with monster icons printed all over it when you play the game. It is quite large and can be used as a clutch bag. This is a must-have novelty.
Even on the business day, numbered tickets were already distributed in the morning. So, if you arrive first thing in the morning, I recommend getting a numbered ticket at the "Monster Hunter World: Iceborn" booth first.
You can fight Rajan and Yverkhana at the test play. They killed me instantly.
Next, visit the "Mega Man Zero & Zex: Double Hero Collection" booth.
The novelty is a sticker sheet.
The game was a fun game for fans of yesteryear and newcomers alike, with graphics that made the most of the old-fashioned dot action.
There was also a photo space next to the booth, and if you took a picture and uploaded it to SNS, you could get a can badge from the gacha-gacha.
Near the Capcom booth, a set of posters of new titles is being distributed.
You have to get this one too!
Next up is the "Cyberpunk 2077" booth, which was the talk of the town at the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) when Keanu Reeves took the stage in a booth session.
The booth is theater-style, and visitors can enjoy a 45-minute teaser movie and demo play.
What is a bit special is that the sessions are divided by time schedule. The timetable is different for business days and general days, so you must check the schedule on the official site.
About 50 to 60 people are allowed to watch each screening, so we recommend that you visit other booths and slip in at the right time.
It would be more efficient and shorter if you confirm with the attendants which times you are going to see the films before you get in line.
Novelties are hand towels and special badges. Booth catalogs are distributed near the booths. This is also cool! Many of the novelties for Western games are very particular items, so they stimulate our appetite for things.
The "Food Fantasy" booth was very unique.
As you can see from the photo, there is no one in the booth. Shopper bags and fans were diplayed, so be sure to stop by and get a novelty.
At the "Taito" booth, you can get a UFO sticker by following the official Twitter account (@Arcade1upJ) at the Arcade 1up corner and tweeting with the hashtag "#Home is an arcade".
In the corner, mini casinos are displayed in a set of rooms, and this corner is a must-visit for the generation that knows the arcade of the Showa era.
The "Bandai Namco" booth. This year's top attraction is "Code Vein.
Near the booth, masks that resemble the masks worn by the characters are being distributed, as well as free comics by manga artist Kotoi Shiraishi.
This mask is expected to be a popular item, so be sure to get one early.
Last but not least is the SEGA/Atlas booth.
The last thing to hold on to at the Sega booth is the "Yakuza7".
The novelty you can get this year is an original muffler towel.
The dragon tattoo style design is very cool. It was afternoon when I arrived at the Yakuza booth, so I had to wait for 100 minutes. But it was worth the wait. The game was changed from an action game to an RPG, which is different from the previous Yakuza series, but it was fun to play. On the general day, novelty fans will be handed out near the booth.
The "Mario & Sonic AT Tokyo 2020 Olympics" booth.
Here you can get a ticket holder with a neck strap.
The game is a hybrid of dots and 3D, a family game that can be enjoyed by gamers of all ages. I enjoyed the dot version of the game very much because it was minimalistic.
At the "Shenmue" corner, adhesive bandages are distributed near the corner.
The "Shenmue" corner is open for visitors to watch movies.
There were other hot titles on display at the Sega/Atlas booth, including "New Sakura Wars" and "Persona 5," but I was unable to try them out this time due to time constraints.
Lastly, there were energy drink-related products.
Monster," which is exhibited every year, and "Dragon Boost," which was exhibited for the first time this year.
Both are exhibited at the far end of the hall.
If you follow Monster's official Twitter account "@MonsterEnergyJP", you can get novelties such as stickers, neck straps and towels by lottery.
Dragon Boost is only available to get drinks if you follow the official @DragonBoostJP Twitter account, so it is better to follow them in advance.
You can also get stickers by tweeting the hashtag #DragonBoost.
If you are tired, kick back with an energy drink and enjoy the game show until the end.
This year, there are many good games in every booth, so aim and squeeze! I thought it would be more efficient to enjoy the show by going around the booths like this. I think the secret to getting more novelties is to decide in advance which halls and courses you will visit.
On the general day, booth catalogs and novelties are given out much more than on the business day, so please get your hands on them. We wish you the best of luck!
