A key visual, synopsis, and trailer have arrived from the first chapter of "Princess Principal Crown Handler," which will be released in theaters on April 10, 2020.

Chapter 1 of "Princess Principal Crown Handler" is the film version of the "Princess Principal" anime that aired on TV from July to September 2017. It will be directed by Masaki Tachibana, with series composition and script by Nobu Kimura, and animation production by Actus.

In the anime version, a hard-hitting story about five high school girls who act as spies in a London divided between East and West at the end of the 19th century unfolded. It was announced that the movie version would be released in six chapters.

Synopsis

In the first chapter of "Princess Principal Crown Handler," a new mission is assigned to Team Shirohato, the spy group of the Republic. The mission is to deliver a certain used bookstore owner to the Republic. Angel, Dorothy, and Chise work together and succeed in retrieving the owner.

Meanwhile, the "spy hunt" in the kingdom is intensifying in the wake of the attempted assassination of the queen, and tension is building on the Republic's side of control. Control suspects that the spy dispatched to the Royal Family may be a "double agent. Team Shirohato is ordered to make contact with the spy code-named "Bishop" who has been sent inside the royal household to find out the truth. What will happen on this new mission? And who is this "Bishop"?
