On September 16 (Mon.) at Shinjuku Wald 9, an advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 of the anime "Mugen no Suminin - IMMORTAL," which will be distributed simultaneously worldwide on Amazon Prime Video from October 10, 2019, was held.

Kenjiro Tsuda, who plays Manji, Hirotsugu Hamasaki, director, and Hiroshi Shimizu, sound director, took the stage at the talk show following the advanced screening of "Mugen no Nezumi - IMMORTAL" episodes 1 and 2.
During the talk show, they talked about behind-the-scenes stories from the recording sessions, highlights of the film, and how Tsuda came to take on the role of Manji.

When sound director Shimizu mentioned that the postrecording session was "the longest postrecording session in the industry right now," both Tsuda and the director agreed, describing the enthusiasm of the scene as "like running a marathon at short speed.

Director Hamasaki explained that he chose Tsuda for the role of Manji because "he can express the dirty side of Manji, not the clean, righteous side. He has the qualities of Manji.

Finally, as for the highlights of the film, Tsuda said, "People tend to focus on the flashy parts such as blood, but there are a lot of sharp performances in the details that are not so flashy. We are going to finish the original work, so please watch and see where the journey of Butei and Manji will take them. I think there are some parts that are difficult to recommend to others, but I would be happy if you could recommend it to your friends and family.

The talk show closed with the conclusion, "Mugen no Nezumi - IMMORTAL" will begin worldwide simultaneous distribution on Amazon Prime Video on October 10, 2019.
