The confrontation in the clock tower comes to life! Mechanical wristwatch commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of "Lupin III: Cagliostro's Castle" goes on sale.

Imperial Enterprises, Inc. released the "Lupin III: Cagliostro's Castle Mechanical Wristwatch" today, February 27, 2020, at the PREMICO online store to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of the animated film "Lupin III: Cagliostro's Castle". The watch is priced at 44,800 yen (excluding tax) and will be shipped in late May 2020.

Lupin III: Cagliostro's Castle" is the second installment in the "Lupin III" film series, released in 1979, and one of the most popular masterpieces of all time. Known as the first theatrical film directed by Hayao Miyazaki, it is still highly popular even today, on the 40th anniversary of its release, for its captivating story and direction.

This model is an official wristwatch inspired by the climactic scene of the story, the confrontation in the clock tower. It is a premium model limited to 1979 pieces, named after the year of the film's release, 1979, and is engraved with a one-of-a-kind edition number.

The dial displays the silhouettes of Lupin and Count Cagliostro, the crest of the Cagliostro family goat, Lupin's favorite car, the Fiat 500, and Lupin's favorite gun, the Walther P38. The back cover also depicts that famous scene when Lupin returns the ring to Clarice.

The product will be delivered in a special box with the emblem of Clarice's ring on the top surface.
