TV anime "Shokugeki no soma Go no sora" to start airing from April 10! A key visual depicting a new character, Asayo, is also revealed!

The spring anime "Shokugeki no Soma Go no Sarara" (read: Shokugeki no Soma: Go no Sarara) will be broadcast on TOKYO MIX and BS11 from April 10, 2020. A key visual depicting the new character Asahi has also been released.

Shokugeki no Soma" is an anime work based on the manga series by Yuto Tsukita and Shun Saeki, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). Set in a prestigious culinary school, the story depicts the growth of the main character, Soma Kohira, through cooking competitions called "Shokugeki".

Directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani of "TIGER & BUNNY the Movie" series, series composition by Shogo Yaskawa of "Terraformers", character design by Tomoyuki Shimotani of "Bakuman. series, character design by Tomoyuki Shimotani, and animation production by J.C. STAFF.

The fifth season of "Shokugeki no soma Gou no sara" will feature young chefs competing in the world-renowned cooking competition "THE BLUE. The competition will be different from the previous ones, with out-of-the-ordinary themes and new rivals. ......!
