Megumi Hayashibara's "Slayers MEGUMIXXX" album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original publication of "Slayers", will be released on March 25 (Wednesday)!

Megumi Hayashibara, who is not only a voice actress but also a radio personality, lyricist, and essayist, will release her album "Slayers MEGUMIXXX (Megumix Kiss)" on March 25, 2020 (Wednesday), and the title, jacket & The title, jacket and artist visuals, and songs included in the album have been released.

This album commemorates the 30th anniversary of the publication of the original work "Slayers," a milestone work that boasts unshakable popularity in both the original work and the anime and still has a passionate fan base. In addition to numerous Slayers-related songs sung by Megumi Hayashibara, who plays the main character Lina Inverse and has sung various theme songs for the TV anime and movie versions of "Slayers," the album also includes a new song, "two thumbs up!

The new song "two thumbs up!" is the first collaboration between Hidetoshi Sato, who has been in charge of numerous "Slayers" theme songs, and Gosan Takahashi, who has written the lyrics for the song. The song is a new opening theme song for the 30th anniversary of "Slayers".

The jacket, which has been unveiled for the first time, was drawn by Rui Araizumi, who is in charge of illustrations in the original work. The jacket depicts the main character, Rina Inverse, surrounded by her favorite treasures and about to kiss a treasure ball, which is the title of the album, and is a must-have for "Slayers" fans.

The artist visual, which was released along with the album, was shot under the theme of "discomfort," inspired by the latest volume of the original work (volume 17), in which Rina went "outside" the world where she had been. The visuals of Ms. Hayashibara look as if she has blended into another world, and the "MEGUMIXXX phrase PHOTO BOOK" enclosed in the first production run only, shows the artwork for this release along with the lyrics of the songs included in the album.
