Divinity: Original Sin 2Definitive Edition" (Divinity: OS2) will be released on October 31, 2019 as a powered-up version of "Divinity: OriginalSin 2 ". In addition to profiles of the "origin characters" of the game, the characteristics of the "Human" and "Lizard" races in the game have been revealed.

The "Divinity" series, which began with " Divine Divinity " released in 2002, is characterized by a high degree of freedom and depth of strategy through turn-based battles. Divinity: Original Sin 2," the predecessor to "Divinity : Original Sin," was created with nearly $1 million in crowdfunding support. After its release, it was highly acclaimed for its perfection and won more than 150 media awards.

Divinity: OS2" is a title packed with new actions, races, and various other additions to "Divinity: Original Sin 2.

The biographies of the main origin characters in the film were released this time. There are six origin characters in total, and players can choose either an origin character or a "custom character" created by themselves as the main character. If the player proceeds through the game as an origin character, the development of some of the quests will change depending on which of the six characters he or she chooses.

Ifan Ben Medz
Race: Human

Ifan Ben Medz was once a Crusader of the Sacred Knights and has dedicated his life to Lucian the Divine. But war has changed everything. Lucian ordered the use of the Mists of Death to spare the lives of his allies. And with the lives of his friends, Ifan's faith was lost. The Wayfarer is a skilled archer with a bow and the ability to use earthworks. He excels at stopping opponents by shooting through their legs with the "forbidden foot shot" and by creating oil terrain with the "mudstone shot." The "Mudrock Shot" is an earthmoving skill that hurls a huge rock filled with viscous oil at the target. The point of impact is an oil zone, and the enemy's mobility is reduced. If the fire skill is used, it is possible to use the environment to create a chain of attacks.

Race: Human

Class: Enchanter



The Enchanter is a magic-type class that masters the water and wind arts. The basic water skill, "Rainfall," causes rain to fall, flooding the area and creating large puddles of water. Waterlogged enemies are less resistant to wind and more prone to freezing, making "Discharge (wind)" and "Ice Pillar Strike (water)" even more effective.

The Red Prince was a wise general of the empire and an outstanding person who was recognized as the next emperor, but one day he was suspected of being in league with the devil and was exiled. He is now reduced to a lowly position and spends his days being chased by assassins. But he will not give in to the status quo, and will continue his journey to regain his former glory.

Class: Fighter



In addition to martial arts skills to use melee weapons, the fighter also learns the "Shield of Magic," an earth skills skill that strengthens defense. The fighter is a class that specializes in close combat, serving as a shield for allies in the front line." Battle Stomp" is a martial arts skill that slams a weapon into the ground, knocking down characters within a forward range. Enemies who fall over are disabled for one turn. It can also remove terrain effects such as fire on the ground.

Humans are the dominant race in the world of "Divinity: OS2. They have the largest population and are rarely treated unfairly because of their race. They possess the "Encourage" skill, which encourages allies and improves key abilities.

Lizard


The Lizard is an exotic and mysterious race. Other races recognize them as warriors, philosophers, slavers, etc., and respect and fear them at the same time. Their unique skill is the Dragon Breath, a breath of fire. They can also use their sharp claws to dig up treasure chests and other items buried in the ground without a shovel.
