From the "Mario Kart Tour" smartphone app, a "multiplayer" feature that allows players to compete against other players from around the world will be released on Monday, March 9, 2020, at 12:00 pm.

Mario Kart Tour" is a smartphone app version of the popular "Mario Kart" racing game series. While the basic concept of riding a kart and aiming for first place by making use of various items is maintained, many new elements have been added, including a "tour" in which players compete for points during a period of time to earn rankings.

And it was recently announced that a "Multiplayer" feature will be released that will allow up to 8 players to play against players from around the world or friends in the game.

In Multiplayer, players can choose from three types of play styles: "With Friends or Neighbors," in which they can choose their favorite rules, "World Match," in which they can compete for "Udmae" with rules that change daily, and "Gold Match," in which they can play for "Gold.

To play in Multiplayer, tap the "With Friends" button in the lower left corner of the main screen to go to the Multiplayer screen, and then press the "Create Lobby" button. If you want to play with "friends or people nearby," you need to set the rules.

Players who are not yet friends can request to be friends before or after the race starts. Friend requests received can be viewed in the "Add Friend" section of the menu screen and approved to become a friend.
