It has been decided that the comic "I'm Standing on a Million Lives" will be adapted into an anime in October 2020. In addition, new information about the staff and cast has also been released.

The manga "One Million Lives I Stand On" is serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) (original story: Naoki Yamakawa / manga: Akinori Nao). Currently in its eighth volume, the series has sold more than 1.3 million copies.

The main character is Yotsuya Yusuke, a rational junior high school student who likes to act alone. One day, Yotsuya is suddenly transported to a different world that resembles a game. He becomes the third player, along with his classmates Shindo Koromo and Hakozaki Benisue, who have already been transported, and is challenged to a life-threatening quest. The ruthless Yotsuya, who abolishes emotion and considers all elements flat, sometimes treats even the lives of his friends as frames. The film depicts him struggling to clear the game, preventing his party from being annihilated by attacking demons, troublesome incidents, and darkly powerful enemies.

The TV anime adaptation will be directed by Kumiko Habara and the series composition by scenario writer Takao Yoshioka. The animation is produced by MAHO, known for such works as "For my daughter's sake, I might even be able to defeat the Demon King. The only magic she can use is wind magic, which moves the air. She was first transported to another world, where she completed a quest and joined Hakozaki and Yotsuya.

A classmate who was transported to another world before Yotsuya. She is a warrior (sword). She was always frail and weak, so her fighting ability is not high.
