Post-recording interview with Kana Ichinose (Utoria)
--The TV anime "Boss, It's Time for Battle! TV anime "President, It's Time for Battle!" will start airing on April 5 (Sun.).
Utoria is a child who has more feelings for the Company than anyone else. She is a childhood friend of the main character Minato, but even though she wants to talk like a childhood friend, she always speaks in a crisp, respectful tone because of her position as president and secretary. But in the anime, you can see the devilish side of Minato, the side that manipulates him and rolls him around in the palm of her hand.
--What do you pay attention to when playing Yutoria?
In battle scenes, etc., there are many lines with "! I try not to make my voice too harsh, because if it becomes too harsh, it would be out of character for the character of Utreya. But if I make it too harsh, it would be out of character for Utreya, so I try not to be too harsh. Utreya is only a secretary and a supporter, so I hope I can express that kind of position in my lines.
--How do you feel about the post recording?
I feel it is very rewarding because they carefully record each line. The atmosphere on the set has been friendly since the first episode, and I, who am not good at talking to people, have been able to talk to them easily. I was next to Yui Horie when we recorded the first episode, and she talked to me a lot and shared sweets with me (laughs).
(Laughs) I often talk with Shun Horie because we often sit next to each other, but more often than not, we talk about a single topic together as a whole rather than individually.
--How did you feel when you heard that you would be singing the ending theme song "Good Night"? Also, what was your impression when you heard the song for the first time?
I didn't expect to sing the ending theme by myself, so I said to my manager, "What should I do? (laugh). But I had not had many opportunities to sing before, so I was very happy to hear the song.
The atmosphere of the song was very cute, and the lyrics conveyed the idea of cherishing each and every day, so I decided to sing carefully.
--How did you feel when you actually recorded the song?
I thought that singing has a different depth from acting. Perhaps because I have not had much opportunity to experience singing since I was a child, I thought I sang with a lot of emotion, but when I listened to the recording, I found that my singing came out flat. I would like to continue practicing this song more and more to deepen my understanding of it.
--Is there a phrase that you particularly like?
There are many, but I especially like the lyrics "I looked up and found a beautiful jewel in the night sky" and "I guess nothing is a piece of kibou. I wanted to be able to feel more fresh through this song, because the things that made me happy or were important when I was little have faded away as I grew older.
--I wanted to feel more fresh through this song.
I tried my best to sing "Good Night" with the feelings of Utreya. I would be very happy if the listeners, when they are tired from work or school, could think, even if only by 1%, "Let's try our best! I would be very happy if you could think "I'll try my best! Please look forward to the start of the anime broadcast!

<INTRODUCTION
Gatevia, the center of the world....
The world was once a magical land of endless desolation.
Then a goddess descended from the heavens and a huge "gate" appeared in the sky. Inside the "gate", people realized that miraculous energy, kirakuri, exists to sustain the world.
As time passed, Gateopia developed as a city.
Treasure hunters who specialize in collecting kirakuri in the dungeons of the Gate appear.
The miraculous energy that sustains the world is left in the hands of kirakuri hunters.
One day, the main character Minato is suddenly summoned by his childhood friend Utria.
At the place where he went with faint expectations, Minato is told by Utria
I thought you were the right person to be president!
Thus began Minato's adventurous life as president, following in the footsteps of his predecessor.
