Commemorating the release of "Sakura Taisen" OVA series BD-BOX, the second interview with the heroines of the series is now available on the special site. Noriko Hidaka as Erika Fontaine appears!

The second interview with the heroines of "Sakura Taisen" OVA series has been posted on Pony Canyon's anime shopping site "Kyanime" to commemorate the release of the Blu-ray BOX of "Sakura Taisen" OVA series.

The site is featuring interviews with voice actresses who played the heroines of the series: Tomosa Yokoyama (Sakura Jinguji), Michie Tomizawa (Sumire Kanzaki), Noriko Hidaka (Erika Fontaine), and Sanae Kobayashi (Gemini Sunrise). The second interview is with Noriko Hidaka, who played the main character Erica Fontaine in "Sakura Wars: Ecole de Paris" and "Sakura Wars: Le Nouveau Paris. In this interview, she expresses her love for "Sakura Taisen," from her first encounter with the character Erika to behind-the-scenes details of the recording of the songs. The first interview with Sanae Kobayashi, who plays Gemini Sunrise in "Sakura Taisen: New York Cordoned", is already available.

Sakura Taisen" is a multimedia work that includes the game of the same name released for the Sega Saturn in 1996, as well as anime and stage plays. In addition to the five numbered titles, a new "New Sakura Taisen" game for PS4 was released last December.

This time, six anime works that were once released as OVAs, "Sakura Taisen Sakuraka Gorgeous," "Sakura Taisen Todoroki Gorgeous," "Sakura Taisen Kanzaki Sumire Retirement Memorial Su-Mi-Re," "Sakura Taisen Ecole de Paris," "Sakura Taisen Le Nouveau Paris," and "Sakura Taisen New York String Raising," will be released as a Blu-ray BOX. The Blu-ray box set will be released on March 18, 2020 (Wednesday). Kyanime" will offer a priority invitation to the event to be held on May 30 (Sat) as an original first-come, first-served bonus, as well as a clear file as an original bonus.

In addition, a set of Polaroid photos with the signatures of the above four artists will be given away to five lucky winners in a drawing. This special site can be enjoyed by fans of the original "Sakura Taisen" as well as by those who have been introduced to the series through the latest "Shin Sakura Taisen.
