Cross X Logos," a new app from the tag team of Aniplex X and Kayac, is now available!　Fight the enemy with vocabulary as your weapon!

Cross x Logos, a smartphone app jointly developed by Aniplex and Kayak, began distribution on September 25, 2019. It is a unique RPG that uses words to fight. Players are chosen as librarians of the "Philosophia Tower" made of books, and they must solve crossword puzzles to solve the mysteries of the world.

The game consists of a drama part to advance the story and a battle part to solve crossword puzzles. In battles, players create words by placing blocks of letters in the squares on the board and attack their opponents. The winner is the first player to deplete his or her opponent's strength. In addition, the more words a player creates in a row, the more powerful his or her attack. The key to battle in this game is the player's vocabulary and the inspiration to create words on the fly.

Hiroyuki Goto, creator of hit games such as "Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan" and "Adventure Quiz Kingdom," is the director of this title. The producer is Takehiro Ando, who has worked on various games at Square Enix.
