Spring Anime "Fruits Basket" 2nd season to start airing on April 6! Visuals of Toru Honda, Yuki Kusama, and others running along the seaside are also revealed!

It has been decided that the second season of the spring anime "Fruits Basket" will be broadcast on TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, and other TV stations from April 6, 2020 (Monday). In addition, a new key visual has been released.

Fruits Basket" is a popular girls' manga serialized by Natsuki Takaya in "Hana to Yume" (Hakusensha) from 1998 to 2006, first adapted into a TV anime by TV Tokyo in 2001, and re-animated in April 2019 with new staff and cast, with the first season TV Tokyo, etc.. The sequel, the second season, will begin airing on TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, and other TV networks from April 6, 2020 (Monday).

The anime version is directed by Yoshihide Ibata, with series composition by Taku Kishimoto and animation production by TMS Entertainment, and will continue in the second season.

To be honest, even though I am the author, there are a few things that I have forgotten (after all, it has been more than 10 years since the end of the original work), and perhaps because of this, when I checked the scenario for the 2nd season, I cried every time I checked it and thought, "Who did this to me? ...... such a hard ...... story, ............ it's me! I was so worried that if the images, voices, music, etc. were added, my body's water content would wither and I would be in trouble,......? I am a little worried about that.
I would be happy if you could watch over the characters of the 2nd season as they try to move forward while searching for the lost until they are no longer lost, but that is why they are so lost. And I would be very happy if you could love them.
