Commemorating the release of "Shin Evangelion the Movie! UCC Milk Coffee's Evangelion tie-up cans, known as "Eva Can", will go on sale on Monday, April 20, 2020!

To commemorate the release of the long-awaited conclusion of "Shin Evangelion the Movie," six tie-up cans of "UCC Milk Coffee Can 250g (EVA2020)" with designs of characters from the movie will be released in limited quantities nationwide from April 20, 2020 (Monday).

A canned coffee similar to "UCC Milk Coffee" appeared in the TV anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" from 1995, and the scene inspired the release of the cans in 1997, when the film version of the anime was released, and in 2007, 2009, and 2012, when the new film version of the anime was released. Tie-up cans with character designs (commonly known as "Eva cans") have been released in 1997, 2007, 2009, and 2012, respectively, since the release of the film version of the anime.

At the time of the launch, a consumer campaign called "UCC Evangelion Project" was underway, in which consumers could win Evangelion goods.

This time, in commemoration of the release of "Shin Evangelion the Movie," the long-awaited conclusion to the "Evangelion the Movie" series, on June 27, 2020 (Saturday), it was announced that the "UCC MILK COFFEE EVANGELION Final Project" campaign would be launched. The campaign is called "UCC MILK COFFEE EVANGELION Final Project" to celebrate the release.

This project, the culmination of the "UCC MILK COFFEE" × "EVANGELION" tie-up, will see the release of limited edition Eva cans, all of which have been newly designed, as well as the release of six tie-up cans "UCC Milk Coffee 250g Can (EVA2020)" with designs of characters from the film. The six tie-up cans, "UCC Milk Coffee Can 250g (EVA2020)," will be released in limited quantities nationwide from April 20, 2020 (Monday). The six cans feature designs of "tentative name: Ayanami Rei," "Shikinami Asuka Langley," "Shinji Ikari," "Kaworu Nagisa," "Mari Illustrious Makinami," "Misato Katsuragi, Sakura Suzuhara, and Ritsuko Akagi" from the "Shin Evangelion Theater Version. Each bottle is priced at 115 yen (excluding tax).

In addition, to commemorate the release of this product, from March 14 (Sat) to April 12 (Sun), 2020, past Eva cans will be on display on the 7th floor of Volks Akihabara (1-15-4 Sotokanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), and the first-ever "Humanity Supplement Can Project" using illustrations from past tie-up campaigns will be on sale. Original goods and other items will also be available for purchase.


In addition, a second campaign will be launched on April 20 (Mon.) to win limited-edition Eva goods and other prizes. Details will be announced later on the special site, so be sure to check it out.
