Includes many songs loved for 20 years! The 20th anniversary best selection album of "Space Channel 5" will be released!

An album commemorating the 20th anniversary of the classic "Space Channel 5" on Dreamcast, "Space Channel 5★20th anniversary 'Gyun Gyun Selection'" will be released by U/M/A/A on December 18, 2019.

Space Channel 5" is a music game released by Sega Games in December 1999. Urara, a rookie reporter for the space broadcasting station "Space Channel 5," challenges the "Moro aliens," who have invaded Earth, to a dance competition in order to defeat them. The dance part of the game is simple: follow the Moro aliens and imitate their choreography, and the game also includes various elements such as shooting and action that go beyond the boundaries of music games. The game also attracted attention at the time for featuring Michael Jackson.

The album announced for release will include "Mexican Flyer" and other fan favorites, as well as songs from "Space Channel 5 VR Aarakata★Dancing Show" for PSVR, which is scheduled for release at the end of 2019. The film will be available on two discs and will include game BGM, remixes, and a voice drama. The booklet also includes comments from the development team, including NaofumiHatani, who created the music for the series, and TakumiYoshinaga, the story designer.

Twenty years after its release, "Space Channel 5" still has strong popularity. The end of this year may prove to be the most memorable for fans.
