PS4 "Ghost of Tsushima" release date set for June 26, 2020! Pre-orders are now available at the PS Store and other online retailers.

SEE (Sony Interactive Entertainment) announced that the release date for the PS4 action adventure "Ghost of Tsushima" is Friday, June 26, 2020. Pre-orders began today at the PS Store and other online retailers.

The game is an open-world historical action adventure set in Japan during the Bun'ei period (late 13th century). The warrior group was destroyed by the Yuan fleet that attacked Tsushima, and the sole survivor, Jin Sakai, decides to abandon his samurai pride and become a "Kurodo" to protect his homeland. In combat with the enemy, he is capable of swordsmanship with a katana and long-range attacks with a bow. He can also use a variety of tactics, such as assassinating from behind, attacking by surprise from high places, or leaping while riding a horse to gain momentum. The game takes place in an open world, where players can see the natural beauty of Japan, including silver grass forests, forests, and mountains.

Along with the announcement of the release date, a story trailer was also released. The trailer features Kotun Haan, a former military commander, and Shimura, the protagonist's uncle, both of whom are important characters in the story.

Pre-orders for the "Ghost of Tsushima" package edition will be accepted at PlayStation retailers and e-commerce sites nationwide from today, March 6, 2020 (Friday)! In addition, PS Store will begin accepting pre-orders for the downloadable version of "Ghost of Tsushima" and the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes various additional items along with the main game.
