Hiroko Moriguchi's "GUNDAM SONG COVERS 2" will be released on June 10! Contains 10 songs + α decided by popular vote of Gundam fans!

GUNDAM SONG COVERS 2, a sequel to the Gundam song cover and self-cover album "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" by Hiroko Moriguchi, will be released on June 10, 2020.

Released in 2019, the song reached No. 3 on the Oricon Weekly, topped 100,000 CD sales, and won the "61st Shine! Japan Record Award, and won the "61st Shine! Japan Record Award, Planning Award". The sequel album is "GUNDAM SONG COVERS 2".

The cover songs included in the album were decided by over 100,000 votes cast on the Internet under the theme of "the strongest cover album by Gundam fans for Gundam fans".

The top vote-getters were "Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta Zeta" opening theme "Silent Voice" (original singer: Hiroe Jun) in first place, "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam" insert song "Giniro Dress" (original singer: Moriguchi Hiroko) in second place, and "Mobile Suit Gundam F91" image song "Kimi wo Mite -The time I'm seeing you-" in third place. No.4 "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 Pocket no Naka no Senso" opening theme song "Itsuka Sora ni Kuru Kuru" (original singer: Megumi Shiina), No.5 "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" ending theme song "Such and Such We Were Together" ( (original singer: See-Saw), the ending theme of "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed. Hiroko Moriguchi will perform a self-cover of these top 10 songs.

The CD will also include a bonus track, "Dawn Car" (original singer: See-Saw), an insert song for "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" covered by Hiroko Moriguchi, and one Gundam song from the "Moriguchi Frame" selected by Hiroko Moriguchi herself.

The CD jacket illustration will be by Tsukasa Kotobuki, who is also a character designer for Gundam works, and will feature the Gundam F91, the main character of "Mobile Suit Gundam F91," a work with which Hiroko Moriguchi sang the theme song in 1991, and the Gundam F91 wearing a normal suit (space suit). A striking illustration of Hiroko Moriguchi in her normal suit (space suit) drifting through space adorns the jacket.

In addition, an entry lottery ticket for the "GUNDAM SONG COVERS Premium Talk & Live" event will be included as an enclosed bonus for the first production run. This event will be held in Tokyo after the release of the CD, with details to be announced soon.
