A music video featuring footage from the "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 3" anime was also released along with the song.
The original science fiction animation "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass" is set in a near-future society where people's psychological states are quantified and managed, and depicts a police force whose justice is questioned. The first TV anime season aired in October 2012, the second in October 2014, and the third in October 2019.
PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 3 FIRST INSPECTOR" is the latest work in this series and is a "special edition" of the third TV anime season "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 3".
The opening theme "Synthetic Sympathy" is produced by "Who-ya Extended," a unit of creators who produced the opening theme "Q-vism" for the third season of the anime.
When "Q-vism" was released at the same time as "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 3" began airing, it dominated the distribution charts, reaching No. 1 on the iTunes overall chart and No. 1 on the Amazon digital popularity ranking. When the music video for "Q-vism" was released on YouTube, it immediately garnered a great deal of attention, with more than 1 million views.
In the newly released music video, digest footage of the anime unfolds along with the fast-paced sound of "Synthetic Sympathy. The world of the song and the world of Psycho-Pass match each other exquisitely, making it a work well worth seeing, so please be sure to check it out.
