Netflix Exclusive New Anime "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" Premieres an Advance Cut of the Main Characters! A live broadcast program featuring the director and cast will also be held!

The latest in the "Ghost in the Shell" series, "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045," which will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix from April 2020, has released an advance cut of the film.

The "Ghost in the Shell" series was first published in 1989 by Masamune Shirow in "Young Magazine Kaizokuban" (Kodansha) and has since been developed in a variety of media, including animation and live-action Hollywood movies. The latest work, "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045," is the first full 3DCG animation in the history of "Ghost in the Shell" and is double-directed by Kenji Kamiyama of the "SAC series" and Shinji Aramaki of "APPLESEED. The animation is produced by Production I.G and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS, and depicts the activities of the new Public Security Section 9 led by Motoko Kusanagi in the year 2045.

The first advance cut of the film has been unveiled!

In the advance cut released this time, Motoko Kusanagi, who has been working as a mercenary after leaving Public Security Section 9, appears. She is a first-class commander with excellent judgment and leadership skills, and is highly trusted by her comrades. Kusanagi's right-hand man Batou, who has most of his body prosthesized and has an artificial eye called the "eye that never sleeps," also makes an appearance.

Other main characters include Togusa, a member of Public Security Section 9 selected by Kusanagi, and Tachikoma, a member of the mercenary unit led by Kusanagi.

＜Story＞
