All 35 volumes of "SHAMAN KING" will be published from June 1! SHAMAN KING Complete Edition", which had been published only through electronic distribution, will be published in book form with new specifications!

The popular manga "Shaman King," which has sold a total of 35 million copies and was made into an anime in 2001, will be published as "SHAMAN KING" by Kodansha.

The "Shaman King" manga was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1998 to 2004 by Hiroyuki Takei, and a TV anime was broadcast from July 2001 to September 2002. A new chapter" is still being serialized in "Shonen Magazine Edge" (Kodansha).

Oyamada Manta meets a boy named "Asakura Ip" in a graveyard at night. Through a fateful encounter with Amidamaru, a samurai spirit from 600 years ago, he begins to develop the qualities necessary to become the "Shaman King," the king of shamans. Various rivals appear in the story, and the battle for the title of Shaman King between shamans from all over the world is depicted.

This time, based on the "SHAMAN KING Complete Edition," which has been published only in electronic distribution, all 35 volumes of the book will be published.


Volumes 1-5 will be released on Monday, June 1, 2020, and volumes 6-8 on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Thereafter, three volumes are scheduled to be published on or about the 17th of each month until March 2021, with new specifications and other features that fans will appreciate.

Details will be announced in the May issue of Shonen Magazine Edge (Kodansha), on sale Friday, April 17.
