The original anime "Skate Reading Stars," scheduled to air in 2020, has been set for July. Character visuals and additional cast members were also revealed.

Skate Reading Stars" is an original anime directed by Goro Taniguchi, with character designs by Yana TODORU, and animation production by J.C. STAFF.

Skate Leading is a fictional figure skating team competition in which five members of one team skate together and compete to win or lose by the sum of their technical and artistic scores. In this work, Ayaharu Maejima, who once quit figure skating, takes on the challenge of skating leading, a group figure skating competition.

The visuals of the characters in the work have recently been revealed. Each of the high schools that appear in the work, "Inuonodai High School," "St. Clavis Gakuin High School," "Yokohama Super Global High School," and "Chutei University Annex Kamimaezu High School," are introduced. A total of 12 additional cast members, including Satoshi Hino, Tomoaki Maeno, and Natsuki Hanae, have also been announced.

Inuonodai High School

Kensei Maeshima, freshman (CV: Yuma Uchida)
　During his Novice skating days, he quit skating because of a comment from his rival Shinozaki, whom he had never beaten, which broke his heart. He is an intuitive genius.

Hayato Nagareishii, a first-year student (CV: Makoto Furukawa)
　Believing in Maejima's talent, he invites him to the world of skate reading in order to defeat Shinozaki. He is a smart guy who is good at collecting and analyzing data.

Tomoyuki Kubota, a first-year student (CV: Hajime Sato)
　He is a mild-mannered and deep-hearted balancer who supports the team even though he is a first-year student.

Izumi Himekawa, a first-year student (CV. Yuichiro Umehara)
　A loner who dislikes rivalry and hates to lose. He is as strong as Maejima and Shinozaki.

Akimitsu Mochizuki, 2nd year student (CV. Reo Tsuchida)
　Younger brother of Yukimitsu Mochizuki. He is a realist with the temperament of a youngest child.

Sota Jounouchi, sophomore (CV: Shoya Chiba)
　A show-off who started skating to be popular.

Shoutaro Terauchi, 3rd year student (CV: Satoshi Hino)
　He is the head of the Inuonodai Skating and Reading Club. He values team harmony and is trusted by everyone around him.

Itsuki Kiriyama, 3rd year student (CV: Tomoaki Maeno)
　He is the vice-president of the Inuonodai Skating and Reading Club. He is strict with himself and others.

Yukimitsu Mochizuki, a third-year student (CV: Natsuki Hanae)
　Manager of the Inubonodai skating and reading club. He is a good-looking person who is aware of his own beauty.

Reo Shinozaki, freshman (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya)
　A child prodigy skater with natural talent and overwhelming beauty and charisma. She switched from single skating to skating reading in high school.

Toranosuke Kurayoshi, 1st year student (CV: Kaito Takeda)
　He is bright, cheerful, and caring. He also acts as an interpreter for Shinozaki, who is not very good with words.

Taiga Himuro, 3rd year student (CV: Tomoki Ono)
　He is the head of the skating reading club of St. Kravis, the winner of the previous year's competition. He and Terauchi were teammates in junior high school.

Yokohama Super Global High School
Kuonji Noa is a first-year student (CV: Saito Souma).
　He is a perennial 2nd place prince who has competed with Shinozaki for the top spot in the singles competition.

＜Introduction＞
"You can never defeat me."
Ayaharu Maejima quit figure skating because of that comment from his rival, Reiho Shinozaki. Several years later, as a high school student, Maejima is using his athletic ability to help out in various club activities, but he spends his days without devoting himself to anything.
One day, Maejima sees a press conference at which his rival Shinozaki announces that he is switching from single skating to skating reading. A boy named Hayato Nagareishii appears before Maejima. He seems to know that Maejima used to be a singles skater, and invites him to the world of skating reading, a figure team competition, saying, "I need you.
