Cast information for the spring anime "Digimon Adventure:" has been announced.

Digimon Adventure", the first TV anime of the "Digimon series" broadcast in 1999, will be reborn as a completely new animation "Digimon Adventure:" and broadcast on TV from April 2020.

The story takes place in the year 2020. The main character, Taichi Yagami, a fifth grader, is sent to the digital world where Digimon live, meets his partner Digimon, and goes on an adventure.

The original idea was written by Akiyoshi Hongo, series composition by Atsuhiro Tomioka, character design by Katsusho Nakatsuru, chief animation director by Akihiro Asanuma, and animation production by Toei Animation.

Casting announcement. Taichi Yagami will be played by Yuko Sanpei, and Agumon by Chinatsu Sakamoto.
