A teaser visual for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of "EX-ARM Ex-Arm" was released today, March 18, 2020. It has also been decided that the broadcast will start in July 2020.

EX-ARM EX-ARM" (original story by HiRock/illustrations by Shinya Furumi) is a popular manga work serialized in "Grand Jump" (Shueisha) from February 2015 and then in "Jump +" (Shueisha) from December 2017 to June 2019. Currently, a new chapter, "EX-ARM EXA EXA EXA" is serialized in "Grand Jump Extra Mucha" (Shueisha).


The setting is the year 2030. It is a science fiction battle work depicting a battle between a criminal organization and the police over "EX-ARM," a weapon with supernatural abilities. The story is about the main character Akira, who has lost his body and is left with only his brain after an incident, and fights against the criminal organization together with Minami and Alma of the police's EX-ARM countermeasure division.


The anime teaser visual released this time depicts the main character Akira, the android Alma, and the fighting body "Ogre".


It has also been officially announced that the anime will begin airing in July 2020. We look forward to hearing more about how the characters and intense battle scenes from the original work will be depicted in the anime.

In 2014, Akira Natsume, a high school student who hates machines, wants to change himself and takes a step forward. However, he is suddenly run over by a truck. The year is 2030. Minami Uenon, a police officer, and Alma, an android, infiltrate the site of a trade in EX-ARM, an unknown weapon, in the port district of Tokyo, when an enemy equipped with EX-ARM No. 08 attacks them. Taking a chance, the girls activate "EX-ARM" No. 00, which they have stolen from the enemy. ......?
